Nice lesson--i have lots of old sweaters waiting for a new life! Though I don't recommend using pins on leather, since holes will remain, but when it's soft suede, it is less noticeable.

I bought the pattern even this afternoon. Printed it off. Found an old sweatshirt and cut it out. I watched the video again and started sewing. I’m amazed by this pattern. One minute it seems so complicated and the next minute it becomes so easy. It’s like a magic pattern and I love it. I really wanted just to make some fabric slippers that could wear in bed as I need to put magnesium cream on my feet. I’ve tried using socks to prevent the cream from spoiling my sheets but I find socks uncomfortable and too hot. I’m sure these will be the solution! I use green painters tape to mark the right side as I find pins sometimes get in my way

Adorable Slippers, great instructions. thanks for sharing. FYI, on the sole chapter the video is duplicated, it shows the steps it twice.
Thanks. It may seem like that, but when following the steps in the pattern, when you add the lining, it may look like repeating.

I use a denim needle or a 110 universal. Depends on the thickness of the leather. Test a piece first.
Would it be okay to sew a tacking seam to hold the top, overlapping area together first?
Sure, however I've never had an issue with it. The pattern was designed to fit snug around the foot.

I think when you are turning them right side out you edited those clips twice into your tutorial. Nice pattern!
It looks like it because you have to flip it twice.
