Heading into the fourth quarter, maybe like a 4 or a 5. But we didn’t quit, we fought till there was 0’s on the clock. People keep saying ‘we barely beat the booker & beal less suns’. They’re still a talented good team over there so tip your hat. Onto Sacramento.

He looked stronger than last year to me though. Hope we don't have to overuse him every game like this one. If we have better shooting, could have been a more comfortable win and LeBron can rest more
I know this is one game and we beat suns without dbook and beal. But the development aftr the denver game. How they adjust. Wood was effective esp in defense. Actually the whole team. Ad played great the whole gane. And of course bron when u needed it most. Gabe is shooting terrible but he is playing well and at defense too. Hope this is the start. Lessgo LAkers ♥️

gabe is solid despite not scoring that much, reddish has that height and wingspan that can be exploited, but sadly rui's min was cut down

Let Wood and AD on court at the same time, and let AD play 5 on offense and play 4 on defense Wood has the sense of Rebound and the size for small center, AD has the talent of offense skills.

Gotta remember they are missing their best perimeter defender in Vando, Kd is hell for anyone in the nba but I loved the fight from everyone, these kind of wins build character and chemistry.
Exactly. That’s why I’ve preached patience w this team. So what if they start off slow, they’ll get clicking in no time. Offense will come along, but the defense down the stretch was masterful
@@LeGoatJames111 Vincent was fighting through screens to check Eric Gordon and Jordan Goodwin, while Reddish and Wood tried to bother KD when they were matched up with him. Wood deserves credit for the block on KD near the end, and Reddish will help pester opposing ball-handlers along with Vando.
@@jadenng7569 exactly. That defense about to be special man. Should be back in the conference finals again. Love the fact that they locked down on D in the 4th quarter and that big lineup was huge

Idc what anyone says, this team needs time to gel, doesn’t matter if book or Beal were out or not, even a squad like tonight’s Sun’s can beat a team that doesn’t have cohesion with one another. There are a lot of new players in the lakers take it one game at a time don’t feed into the media bias

I really like watching LeBron James play.
LeBron James must not only control his total playing time to about 30 minutes, but also reserve more than 10 minutes of playing time in the fourth quarter in order to harvest the game, I think.
Reaves should be better. I hope Gabe will improve his shooting accuracy moving forward. Even though it's without Beal and Book, we're showing grit and no quit attitude, I'm sure it's going to fare well later in the season!

Lebron took over and Wood played a very good defense on KD. Now we have to find ways to stop getting through bad runs like this 13-2 suns run at the end of the 1st quarter.
It appears they (Lakers) fell in love with the 3 point shot in the preseason and carried over, but that’s not who they are. They are dominant in the paint. This is who they were last year. Notice how every highlight in the 4th was in the paint. I think even maybe all of their points were, minus the free throws.

A W is a W..shouldn't of happen this way & lakers should of won this easily..the issue is, intensity, heart, and effort..not rotations not ham..ham can't teach heart..they started fast vs nuggets & didn't maintain their start vs suns in beginning. Their approach & mentality has to be better. They showed it last 6-7 mins in 4th..need that type of intensity, energy from the jump.
AD activated Marshon Mode..redeemed himself from the let dwn vs the Nuggets. Need AD to play with this fire EVERY GAME from the jump. Shout out to bron carrying lakers on his back to ignite the come back. AD need to take that mentality & add it to his approach. Good shit. If lakers play with intensity, energy, effort & heart things will work itself out. I think Austin is still pretty exhausted from the world cup, but we need him to play better than he did in these first 2 games and Dlo NEEDS to wake tf up soon. Second game of the season and the minute restriction for Lebron is already broken..although I know its not that feasible in the first place it still surpise me that it will be broken so fast. We need Austin and Dlo to run some offence for us badly. Also Vincent need to stop taking the toughest 3 point shots in the world lol

Win is a win but Im pissed with ham and the coaching staff, rui only playing 12 min, gabe more minutes than reaves.
And they only figure it out on the 4th that they need a big lineup with AD playing the 4 and Wood in the 5 🤦♂They need to play big always against this team and especially the def champs to win. More rebounds more chances of winning.

The main problem of this team is called Darvin Ham. I cant judge the players performance, having Ham as coach.
