    The first step to success is actually learning to take notes, engrave it, and actually putting it to action than just watching

    As a salesman, these techniques typically work on poor people or those with low self esteem. One rule in sales, "never sell to poor people". If you want to make money in sales, you need to sell to rich people, not poor. Rich people require different techniques.

    What’s absolutely mind boggling about this is that as I was sitting here having been learning a lot about storytelling recently, I realised this actually undertakes the 3 Act storytelling method to a T. There’s the hook with exposition of how the person is currently living, and how they have a goal they want to get to. But to get to the goal there’s a conflict or obstacle preventing them from getting to where they want to be.
    There’s also the rising stakes of staying where they are, which just can no longer be a possibility (e.g. due to the rising fire metaphor), so they’re forced to take on a transformational journey onwards to the goal. They have to go on a journey to find a solution to solve the conflict/obstacle in their way. Except with selling, you just sell that solution to the obstacle. You sell them the promise of instant transformation so that they find immediate relief without having to undergo an uncertain, and probably painful journey (but not as painful as staying in the metaphoric fire).
    Incredible, I love this realisation. Excellent video and analogies.

Although i've become a nerd about it as it's super fascintating with storytelling being an integral part of human psychological evolution and brain development. I just took note of everything from the beginning, pausing to think and adding in examples in each step so as to how I can apply it my own business. I discovered so many new ways I can pitch my business, which is already a product of service. The only place I couldn't get a good example was in the end- of getting them to pay. A lot of my customers are new medical students and they are kind of short of money, always keep asking for discounts. Gotta figure that part out! If anyone has valuable advice- feel free to reply to my comment! Thank you Patrick, you just got a new subscriber for providing value content! 🥰

      Hey Samina. I would love to help u out. I once helped my friend in USA named James Jeans. The thing we did was i don't know if you have a website. But we put 15% off on a certain type of deal which looked a lot more affordable then the actual price. But there was a deal. I hope you understand. Hopefully it will help u out. If u have some question do let me know

    • @greggoreo6738
      @greggoreo6738 8 днів тому

      Yes. Set higher your initial fee or cost. Then, when a discount is given, you're not. Eating into your retail price profit, yes? Now, when my services are 100 dollars per unit, and you're asking for a 75 dollar possibility , I'm still making more than the 50 dollars I was factoring -- to begin my bargaining. Start higher than need be. P s. When dealing with my clients, I love asking them: "I know you have a Budget -- what is affordable to you?" Often: they'll be more generous than I even have in mind. (I deal very OFTEN with this premise: "if you're happy-- then, I'm Happy.") respecfully submitted for your consideration Gregg Oreo Long Beach CA États Unis

    I'm only 2 minutes in, and he's talking about if there is no pain, there is no sale. I thought that was far fetched, and not related to me, so I checked my order history on Amazon... and I literally purchased all of my items out of a need that causes me pain in some form or another. W. T. F.

    • @meidson12

    15:34 honestly I agree with everything in the video, but I would have a hard time doing this. If it were me being sold to, I would immediately spot that I was trying to be sold to which would put me off the sale. I think this is something which works on some people who aren’t clued up on sales tactics but not for most. The product/service has to speak for itself in many cases

    People “sound so excited” to get started because it’s being polite. Nobody that thinks they’re being scammed is gonna be like, “don’t pressure me”. It’s easier to say, “I’ll think about it” ..when in reality is a hard no. I could never manipulate somebody into giving me money. Just wrong.

    I hate pressure sales....I see this as manipulation.....when a person is ready they will remember you and get back to you especially if they know your didn't pressure them, they will feel like they can trust you. It is dark because it's mind manipulation with knowledge...that's very dark. I believe in a full disclosure of services/product with time to consider....just like with any contract which this is.....when you pressure someone you know that you are not working for the best interest of the consumer but for your own greedy purposes....in my opinion, that's outside of integrity.

    12:02 I'm pretty sure there will be people who will try to lowball the price even when we say it with such confidence. In this kind of situation, what is your advice on how we should approach it?

    • @baptistemilletpetit1957
      @baptistemilletpetit1957 6 днів тому

      Hello this is my take on this problem : lowball youre price before them, then put it in perspective, for exemple : with the immense value there is in that program and the experts here to provide you help for your questions and informations, and would say this is the same value as a Phd wich is worth $65k. I could easily sell it $65k but by doing so i would only help those who already have a large capital to invest in their education, and my goal is to help AS MUCH people possible with this program. That's why i would not sell it $65k neither $30k neither $15k. Normally i sell this extremely valuable program for the low price of $1497. But for you, today, i want to present you an offer. Exeptionally i would sell you this program with a big discount of -$800 so $697. And you can even pay in three month without fees so 3x$239. If you decide to take that program today you will ONLY have to pay $239. To Put that in perspective, i you buy every day a $6 coffee in Starbucks in 4 month you'll have spended $640. So what's the most Important ? You're finabcial freedom or 4 month of Starbucks ?

    Great Video, very helpful. Quick Question, how do you stop yourself from saying the word "errrrrm" while speaking to clients. I do it all the time and I think it makes me sound like I don't understand what I am talking about,. Is it just a confidence thing or maybe I need to improve on my speaking skills. What's your opinion 🤔

    • @dimex3362

      Learn to make pauses instead of having to speak like a motor mouth. The thing is the “ums” come out when you are trying to fill the thinking time with some sound to sound like you are still talking. Instead of doing that, slow down and make pauses, this will make the thinking time much less obvious and will start to eliminate the ums.

      Understand who your customer is. What types of people need pain relief? Older people, handicapped people, athletic people. If you see those types of people in the mall get their attention.

      If you have a co worker you can use some deception and use them to demonstrate how the device is used. Even better is having a few people waiting to try it.

      Best thing is that record what you sell and give a trial to the people's and record their testimonials and play it on the top or on the bottom of the mall that's freaking simple

      Remember This Acronym : MOneY$; 1. MOTIVATION : Pain. Need : Pain relief Y: Time (I mean , they have a plan to spend the budget during these days?) and $: Money : Do they have a budget? .
      Said this: don't waste time to people without a budget and plan . Maintain the contact, phone , email of those with a possible budget ,but not a plan to invest now. Avoid those without a budget and without a plan for these months,year.
      Your observation goes first , and your questions must filter your potential closers. It's called CONSuLTaTIVE Selling ... Asking questions : Would you try a brief muscular pain relief ? would you like to get relief at night from your articulation pain? Do you have a parent with some muscular pain at home ? Etc.. These exploratory talks will reveal the MoNeY$, then you will focus to close on those who qualify ( showing beautifully your product )
      Some people have someone at home with pain . Those will look at your ad "pain relief" .
      Write your copywriting short speech ( elevator speech). And , and , and focus on doing every presentation better every time ( showing you and your product add more value than it cost) maintaining always your vision that you will break the game selling that.( this is the most important thing of your game) You will see the results. Thank me later. Regards
