Love Michael Madsen as Sonny Black. He's my favorite movie villian. Also liked him in Reservior dogs, Kill Bill vol 2, Killing Jar, Getaway and 44 minutes
Al Pacino really took this role because he regretted turning down Scorcese when Scorcese offered him the role De Niro played in Goodfellas. Pacino hated that he was becoming known for playing Mafia roles and he said that he regretted not taking the role in Goodfellas.
"You owe me eight grand." LOL That cracks me up every time because he says it so casual. I wish I could shakedown some of the asshole retailers who ripped me off of warranty that didn't cover certain damages. I would love to smack them around until they ball up in the ground crying and giving me my money back.
this movie as well as The Fan (1996) with Deniro and Snipes have a similar opening montage with identical editing and font... both are Mandalay Entertainment films.
@Endoost2 you think maybe you can upload goodfellas? I only ask because the other channel who has it up had the audio replaced with a bullshit soundtrack.
por favor que alguien se apiade de mi y me de el nombre de la canción cuando están en el bar que el amigo de lefty lo golpea al hombre que le da el anillo falso esta escena se ve cuando el vídeo esta por 9:20 minutos...........Please someone have mercy on me and give me the name of the song when in the bar's friend lefty hits it to the man who gives false ring scene when the video is 9:20 minutes this by
i think pacino is the best actor in the world. imagine bein al pacino... all the respect, fame, money, pussy anything he wants really. lucky man but hes earned everything for being such a brilliant actor and a nice man.
"my family, my children, my mother can hold her head up in any neighborhood in this city when she walks down the block. in all the five bureaus i'm know, forget about it. i'm known all over the fucking world. anybody ask anybody about lefty from Mulbury st." damn that's gangster. lol
Great film. I think Johnny Depp's most interesting and unique films were in the 90's while nowadays he acts in plenty of commercially successful fairytales to stay on the top. Al Pacino was impressive here too and Michael Madsen with Anne Heche did a great job too. I miss the 90's so much!!!
wow i read the book, and i swear to god everytime the real lefty speaks in the book i see al!! lol he talks like lefty did and ive seen the real lefty and al looks like him a bit
Damn Phil & Boris. Why so racist?! I dont feel like that about white guys. And plenty of em fucked me over. If u got legit reasons then ok. But other then that you are lookin at a hater in the mirror. Talkin bout RAP & stuff. Go write a song. U can do it.I like the italian swag too. Even tho Gotti was racist.Im just sayin. If I can ignore your color then u can too.
scarface is a tacky, over the top, highly overrated, cheesy 80's movie. It's a crime to put it in the same level as goodfellas, donnie brasco and the godfather.scarface has more in common with rocky 4 then any of these movies.Even carlito's way is worthy to be amongst the greats, and it's a far better movie then scarface.
Im glad Pacino didn't play Jimmy Burke (Conway...), De Niro played the part perfectly and he had a very similar appearance to the real guy aswell, dont get me wrong though, Pacinos a great actor, just sometimes different people are better suited, can you imagine de niro trying to play tony montana? haha that'd be some funny shit, you talkin to me?
@lcovati Coop! Not coup. It's a pigeon coop! Forget about it! Sonny's body was found real close to where my first college girlfriend lived on the Island. We used to party by that creek all the time. And my friend coincidentally lives on Wither's street while he's going to Pratt. He lives two, three houses up for the old Motion Lounge.
u got it all wrong man they were corrupt they killed stole raped torched and pillaged sure the police and or gov arnt any better but they aint any better what i would say which you did to is they have balls and carried a lot of respect even if it was fear
good movie BUT th real donni brasco left out a lott in hes book and this movie do you think for the 6 years under cover for the fbi he never wittnessed a killing or took part in 1? he fell in love with it he loved the life they led
@countbloodula The difference between depp and pacinos character is that if you took away their guns depps character would still kick ass while pacinos character would get brutally beat down.
@ Dresden didn't win the war though did he? by the way, what did conquering all those countries really do for Germany? Place looked real swell after the allies had thier way with it...
How can this be a true story? Why would donnie brasco do this movie and how his he still alive? Just seems fishy to me. He would be dead by now if this was true.
In recent F.B.I. released there is all kinds of crazy stuff this guy did. He would push old ladies down steps, kick puppies and all kinds of wild stuff
I've got this on dvd but I'm watching it on youtube.
Love Michael Madsen as Sonny Black. He's my favorite movie villian. Also liked him in Reservior dogs, Kill Bill vol 2, Killing Jar, Getaway and 44 minutes

What a soundtrack,
Forget about it ‼️
Even for a gangster like Lefty, we feel sympathy for him, such a brilliant film.
Best ever interview and recruitment ..
Al Pacino really took this role because he regretted turning down Scorcese when Scorcese offered him the role De Niro played in Goodfellas. Pacino hated that he was becoming known for playing Mafia roles and he said that he regretted not taking the role in Goodfellas.
"more leg room for your legs" lmao
it says so in the donnie brasco documentury.
This movie is Point break with mobsters.
"You owe me eight grand." LOL
That cracks me up every time because he says it so casual. I wish I could shakedown some of the asshole retailers who ripped me off of warranty that didn't cover certain damages. I would love to smack them around until they ball up in the ground crying and giving me my money back.

You got somin' you gotta lay off?

AINT DA QUESTION!
if you stop @ 9:23, youll notice an early 90's caprice cab further ahead.
so that basically mean you can hold your head up in any neighborhood in tha city
Can somebody tell me what is the name of the book?? Thank you...
how much was depp benching? it looked pretty heavy.
If wise guys played by the rules, nobody would get whacked...
@bodhitachi! this movie is a classic!
por favor que alguien se apiade de mi y me de el nombre de la canción cuando están en el bar que el amigo de lefty lo golpea al hombre que le da el anillo falso esta escena se ve cuando el vídeo esta por 9:20 minutos...........Please someone have mercy on me and give me the name of the song when in the bar's friend lefty hits it to the man who gives false ring scene when the video is 9:20 minutes this by

Good quality, thanks :)
i think pacino is the best actor in the world. imagine bein al pacino... all the respect, fame, money, pussy anything he wants really. lucky man but hes earned everything for being such a brilliant actor and a nice man.

oh that Johnny = soooooooooooooooooooooo HOT
This is one of them films that you just cant take your eyes off.. Thanks for up loading mate :)
well written, well acted + well directed. This Pacino vs Depp bar scene is my top 10 scenes in any movie.
The Lincoln vs Cadillac debate is really what got Nicky whacked.
Left had the makings of a varsity athlete
Small hands. They were never his problem.

Thanks for posting this always seem to miss the end of this every time its shown, nice quality as well.
This is an excellent movie.
Al Pacino is a fucking beast in all of his movies. This is a must see.

th real donni brasco left out a lott in hes book and this movie
do you think for the 6 years under cover for the fbi
he never wittnessed a killing or took part in 1?
he fell in love with it he loved the life they led
"i'm known!"
@countbloodula The difference between depp and pacinos character is that if you took away their guns depps character would still kick ass while pacinos character would get brutally beat down.

@AgentCell That's why people romanticise the notion of mafia, because it's that "I've got power and I'll fuck with you if you fuck with me" complex.
This is good quality - THANK YOU!!!
You commented this 8 years ago. How are you doing these days?
@@guitarofdestiny shut up
horse racer or not u still aint as famous as al pacino, you're not known all over the world are you? exactly. You're just full of yourself.
@biancajocelynn are you lying? my xbox live tag is Lefty2Gunz.. people call me lefty cause i love this guy i read all about him
one of the greatest mob movies ever
Why can't she be proud of that??? She didn't say she's proud that her great grand father clipped a few dozen guys.
Pachino is overacting in this movie. De Niro would of OWNED this movie, but Johnny Depp did do a great job though.
wasted some 26 people, yeah.. somebody to be real proud of! guess was no skin off your back.
My most favorite movie of all time... Along with Godfather and Scarface... I just can't choose one over the other!
IM KNOWN FOGGGGEDD ABOUDD IDD fuking awsome man the way he say that
jealous of al pacino yes i am but you!? dont make me laugh mate.

Perché non ci sono i sottotitoli? Non si può fare niente per avere la traduzione in italiano? Grazie 💋
Yeah, but Pacino a made man and depp was a fed!
@MsCapricorna LOLZ, I meant Al Pacino... How embarassing.
Hey! Don't say his real name! You wanna get him killed???
the godfather is still the best ever.
@b0j43 UA-cam could not handle the whole movie.Too good
