I am in my 60's now and grew up riding the Monkey and Trail 70 in my youth and since selling my 16' Montesa 260 4RT due to health reasons I have been trying to find one these to play with up here in the formerly great white north. I am on the east coast and the only examples worth looking at are on the west coast and now with shipping cost sky high it has become price prohibitive to have one shipped. Congrats to whomever becomes the lucky lad to snatch this up, looks like too much fun to be legal !
That is such a beautiful bike. These bikes bring back such great memories. You guys did a great job on this video and Andy did a great job on the restoration. I hope that you can keep up the this partnership. Thanks.
Such an honor to have watched all of this transpire at the ranch!! We know you’ll still come around, Kase and Alex 😊 You’re always welcome! Thanks again for putting this all together, we have memories for a lifetime!
I wish I never sold mine for only $300. But he was a good friend-with two small daughters. By the way, he passed two KTM’s on a jackhammer Enduro out in California. That is with the CT 70.
I remember I had a green one. I just don't remember what happened to it that was in high school but I did learn how to straight forks. Thank goodness I had weld shop and they had a press cuz I tried to jump a culvert I made it the bike did not it had a real funny bend in those fork legs but they straightened out well enough to ride I just can't remember what I did with it. Oh and that was a long time ago
Chrome grab handle on rt side is missing. Otherwise Beautiful. I did a 100% restoration on My Z-50 AK-1...I have a 69 K0 CT 70 in the garage, in parts. I need to do this.
First time I've heard that these weren't street legal. Laws vary by state due to our bizarre fascination with re-inventing the wheel regarding driver's licenses and titles handled by states instead of federally.
Advance congratulations to the one who will got this wonderful bike 😊
HAVE A GOOD DAY EVERYONE

Totally awesome
Andy in a Bob Marley shirt. So very on brand.
I still think Kace should be a nightly news reader.. on one of the networks 👏👏

These are most dependable little bike that you could ever own. You couldn't kill them.
Nice bike. I have a 71 that pretty much looks the same. As far as street legal goes they are in BC Canada.
Rather buy the newer version for 4k this is nice but too much money

I lived in MI and mine was street legal because my year had the turn signals. I was restricted from going on the interstates!
Kase 😍
It should easily fetch $272K
PHATMX is also a supplier in Canada and he's much cheaper than CHP
How much
Why the license plate bracket if it's not street legal ?
Not street legal?
