Ridge knows that Rick is involved when Eric declares that he will not be retiring any time soon. Stephanie and Taylor make a pact to stay vigilant in the fight for their families and the men they love. Rick learns some damning information that he feels will assist him in seeking revenge against Ridge and is presented the perfect opportunity to lower the boom.

Eric was always a fool when it came to women and an idiot when it came to business. He played the children against each other so often.
Eric does play his children against each other and they act like a bunch of entitled, spoiled brats, lol
Eric does no such thing, the kids start their own drama with each other and they come running to daddy to take their side, Eric often tries to be the peacemaker. Just like Eric says, Ridge thinks he is entitled to the company more so than all his siblings but they are all his children, he listens to all their grievances

I miss Ron Moss as Ridge.I know he wasn’t the best actor BUT he was on our screen for 25 years.Thorstom Kaye is a good actor but not. a good Ridge.The only chemistry he had with someone was when he was paired with Caroline not Brooke. IMHO they should never have recast Ridge in the first place.I know RM wanted to leave the show so they should have killed the character off.
