This is a good transmigration costume production. I liked that the FL was strong and capable, but I didn’t really get a romantic vibe from her - as I did from ML. Other than that, it is definitely worth watching. SYNOPSIS - SPOILER ALERT!!! While studying a ring at the institute, FL suddenly transmigrates into ancient times. When she wakes up, she is an ugly woman in the midst of a frameup to ruin her innocence. She quickly escapes. Afterwards she discovers that the ring has transmigrated with her and it’s able to conjure medicines she needs. While running from the guards, she tries to hide in a room, only to fall into the bathtub where a poisoned man (ML) is trying to detoxify. She conjures some medicine and leaves before he is able to move again. Stunned by her actions, he orders for her to be found. Returning to the home of the body’s owner, she confronts the evil sister (2FL) who framed her in order to prevent FL marrying the Crown Prince, thus becoming Crown Princess - a position she wants for herself. And when the Crown Prince comes the next day, she tells him she wants to break off the engagement. Then ML arrives with an edict that does just that. It turns out that he is in fact the country’s Regent and brother of the reigning Emperor. Afterwards he makes a deal with FL for her to cure his poison. And so the two of them are, yet again, entangled. Soon the two of them become two ants on the same rope, having to depend on each other to survive in this hostile Royal family with its secrets and greed. Well, this has a happy ending.
IKR? Since I've been watching Asian dramas, he's the second actor (Chinese) I have ever seen. This is the first time I've seen him with his shirt off. This actor plays in a lot mini dramas.

This was a cute drama and they didn't have to rush the end like that. The FL was a bad b*tch who kicked a*s and took names, ruthlessly slaughtering her enemies where appropriate. The ML was dignified and actually culturally appropriate, meaning he had a learning curve to figuring out how to be with a modern woman. LOL. Aside: A Magic Ring!? Come ON! That's cheating. 😑

That was pretty awful. I feel like the actors were wasted, especially the ML and his aide, and the “bandit” leader. The sound was choppy and fuzzy. The makeup was messed up. A couple of the costumes looked more like Greek Goddess to me, and most of the rest were ho hum. But mostly I felt the script was weak. It made the timing of everything poor so that any momentum was lost leaving the actors standing around and looking doofy. While I am not personally a fan of the actress who plays the FL, that is my own preference and I tried not to let that affect my opinion of this. Setting that aside, I have to ask, why did the king even like her? Her character was a total shrew. I would be sorry to have wasted my time on this except that it gives me even more respect for-and appreciation of-the shows like this that put out way better productions. Looking at the other reviews, I have to wonder if I was watching something different than everyone else was! I wonder, is that possible? Because they don’t even mention what I’ve seen. I feel confused how no one else would have mentioned at least some if what I have.

男主角越來越帥了，不但五官端正全身魅麗十足而且演技越來越厲害，整組演員演技超讚，女主角美又會演十足的霸氣，光是看二人演戲就歎為觀止結局也不錯好看。
