I've heard that you get gapless switching if you take the plastic off the displays.
I've heard that when a company sends you equipment to try out and it doesn't belong to you, that you leave it in new condition (i.e plastics on) since it doesn't belong to you. You wouldn't know that though, because companies most likely don't send you gear to try.
@@JasonSadites I thought it was a great joke. Perhaps that was lost on you. Yeah, you're right that keeping the gear sent to you by a company in New condition is the thing to do, but man, lighten up a bit. Guy was making a joke.

True very Flexible but why not just get FM9 same switching Options, plus more CPU Horsepower ? its the route ill be taking
When this video was made, there was no such thing as an FM9.
Since you have an mc-6 and Mc-8 I’d love to see if you can replicate a similar type of setup with it as well !
Fractal is head and shoulders above the competition. The only knock I can possibly levy is that they kind of corner you with the foot control. It certainly seems that they highly intend for every owner to have to pick up an FC 6/12. Especially with the AxeFX III.
The price is also a bit high.
I've been happy with my AX8, but its reached its end with upgrades, etc.
This is looking promising, but if I'm going all in again, I have to consider the AXE FX III and the 12 button foot controller.
Buy once and be happy!

I don't have an FM3, but the layout concepts could be useful for those who have a 3-button Modeler connected to some type of multi-button expansion unit. The hierarchy structure for accessing and using the different modes is an interesting topic that could be applied to different units. Thanks
I saw a video someone used a regular midi foot controller and it worked just fine, you'll save yourself hundreds of dollars
