Sasha should have actually made this an opening number to his own Broadway musical about drag and took that show around the world to the major theater markets. Based on this song and his vocal range. It would be a hit. But, this drag queen was sent by God to work the main stage.

I really hope these short films are continued because I was really looking forward to the glorious drag saga that was promised. I still can’t get over how beautiful this version of ‘Pirate Jenny’ is. Sasha is just something else ❤️
Sasha has got me obsessed with this song now. And after researching a bit into the original song (that i didn’t know beforehand), i found amazing details! She changed the lyrics of the original song, just a tiny bit... but just enough to make this velour, to make this current, draggy, political. I’ve been thinking of different interpretations of this but I’m pretty sure that it’s about the political state that we live in and violence in the world and how everybody’s ignoring the problem. At least that’s how I interpret it, what do you guys think?! It’s absolutely fascinating. The way sasha makes everything deeper and makes us reflect on so much stuff. Such a smart and amazing queen.

5:40 - AMAZING delivery of that "Oops."
