Finally a good review, with informative content, and it cut right to the important points. Also impressed with extensive testing and parameters. Kudos. Keep up.
Hawkins haven't given a precise description about the coating used except that its German based. Carote uses coating from ILAG, a Swiss based company. Personally, we have found Hawkins' coating to be more durable. As for Granite, its just a fancy name for nonstick coating with white specks that gives it a granite-like appearance. @@everythingbetter thank you for the reply. And the I read the blog article, it was really good !! But carote is an international brand I guess ? Since it’s international we could trust that Iys actually granite / PFOA free n all ? Also where to buy apart from Amazon ? And bout the temperature ~250* something, what flame is that medium / high ? Or you mean shouldn’t leave the pan empty on medium heat for too long ? Good review thanks
@@kavithams5969 Yes, Its better to use the pan on a low-medium flame. Avoid over-heating as it could emit toxic fumes. This happens irrespective of the brand. Personally, I found Hawkins better. But, that doesn't mean Carote isn't.
If you are on a budget, it would be a decent option to choose. Take care not to overheat and let it cool completely before washing so that you can prevent it from warping...
Hi can u do a comparision video on glass storage containers from dmart milton borosil etc.i find dmart glass jars very cheap but i really want to know the difference interms of quality between dmart and other ones
Sorry, I haven't done such a comparison. From what I understand, inexpensive options are less resistant to thermal shock and more likely to crack or shatter when exposed to sudden temperature changes. Then, lids and lid locks are also major point of difference. Let me do a shameless plugin 😆 We have launched a new range of healthy home and kitchen products- Nuance Borosilicate Glass Containers, For the first time in India with 304 Grade Stainless Steel Lids- 320 ml set of 3- amzn.to/3Kbnsaf 1000 ml set of 3- amzn.to/4aCZTBD
Having used hawkins non stick cookware for about 3 years i can say it's amongst the best for budget purchase. And the non stick surface is still intact. It also depends on how you handle while cooking.

Thank you for detailed review

Can't select frying pan. All have some toxic materials. What about milton pro cook ? Is it safe?
If you are concerned about the nonstick coating, opt for stainless steel or cast iron frying pans. Milton Pro Cook too have nonstick coating.
What About dosa pan?
