I think the point of her still trying to have his child would be so that there would still be a piece of him in this world, esp. if he was a good person.
But it would be more wholesome to start afresh and create a unit with a new partner. It’s difficult for some potential partners to accept fully another’s child. I understand your point of view, but he may have other family to continue that forward. Also the possibility of that child being just like father would be slim as his influence would be warped through mums memories due to grief. It may elongate mothers pain. Mum is currently in pain going through all of this why prolong it? What if said child turns out to to be opposite to expectations?
@@TheMSS1977 That is a lot of "what ifs" that only God could answer. If it's meant to be, it will be. And if someone can't accept someone else's child then they don't deserve to be in that person's life. As to it being "more wholesome to start afresh", that would be a sad way to think about things if a child were already here or on the way, when the child's parent had passed.
@@bethnichols2875 there was only one 'what if' I mentioned really, and if the child was already here we wouldn't be discussing it right now as this already occurs. Here are more 'what ifs?' What I'm saying is that if a partner dies, usually you would move on and start again. But to have the need to hold onto that person mentally and to go as far as having that child could be considered as obsessive behaviour. If it is obsessive behaviour then the child may not receive the best upbringing. What if mother fell out with the paternal family cutting off contact with the only true connection with the father? Can of worms.
Yup we discussed freezing sperm while my husband was undergoing cancer treatment. So many emotions. I see why she wants to have a baby and I see Anthony's point too. To me it sounds like she's really trying to hang onto her fiance but it should be her decision.
4:02 the look on Anthony's face, mortified when joe says "I was raised by a single woman" after they just said they think single women do just fine raising kids. I wish the editor would close up on that lmao.
I love rolling one up and just watch JK for a bit

Same. Woke up got some coffee going & going to catch up on their vids 🙌🏻

@@bethnichols2875 just a follow up question. You mentioned god. Where does God fit into any of this?
@@TheMSS1977 - No it's not considered to be obsessive behavior because they were already planning to have a child even before he died.
I was expecting them to clap for 15 minutes straight again
