Edit: I'm clarifying this because I've had a lot of misunderstandings. I only said he understands based off the fact he corrected himself when he said "As a former emo, I mean goth." Many people will not correct themselves when they make this error because they believe there is no difference between goth and emo. I'm perfectly aware that he doesn't understand the basic concepts, but he does recognize that it is different by correcting his mistake, so it’s honestly a start. I certainly believe there is always space for improvement. You should also be aware that he gets a lot of information from minors in his chat, so please keep that in mind, plus he is new to gothic culture. Finally, I want to point out that I am well aware that emo and goth are both music subcultures rather than styles, and I am also aware that he did not use the theme correctly. He did not do "Gothic Romance" correctly. To clarify, gothic is more than just "black"; there are many other dark colors associated with it, in particular with the different types of gothic fashions. Sorry for the misunderstanding and the lengthy comment, but thank you for reading it! 💕
