This would technically be possible in C++ as you can redefine instructions as emojis if you wanted, since C was used to make many OS C++ can surely deliver
Imagine making a game with this. If the people find the game to be shit, one person might get curious enough to look under the hood to see what went wrong. It would be amazing to watch their reaction as they try and understand the neigh hieroglyphic spaghetti code that somehow made a game function work.
I understand the choice of a watermelon to counteract the grape. In fact, a watermelon is the opposite of grapes, in a way. In grapes, there are several grape with only air and small branches between them. In a watermelon slice, there is only one fruit, with many seeds that are connected to nothing but fruit. Grapes are brought together, the seeds in a watermelon are separated by walls of fruit. (as for why grapes, I guess it's a programming language, so it links stuff together to a final result, the shape of grapes works well, assuming the very last grape to be the result)
The funny thing about the way you showed to input emojis is that it's very similar to how Japanese text is typed. That's probably part of the reason why emojis were developed in Japan, (on top of already having more than about 10,000 characters anyways), since they need a popup every time they type anyways, they can throw a bunch of other stuff in that we would otherwise have to throw into autocorrect on mobile, or just not at all on a keyboard.
@ANoobyPlayer UwU Japanese has 46 Hiragana, 46 Katakana, over 2000 common use kanji (Jouyou Kanji), a few hundred kanji exclusively for names (Jinmeiyou Kanji), plus thousands of other kanji which are technically depreciated but still occasionally used today. A few more than 50.
@@xXJ4FARGAMERXx No, since that's not how they work. Native japanese words are written with hiragana, and only foreign loans are in katakana. The scripts aren't mixed.
This idea just came thru my head so here I am from google as I code thinking like why is this not common practice already. Really would be so much further along by now. Wow, the programming languages you’ve created is just “wow”! Is it possible if you create a tutorial series on creating a simple programming language with the most common functions (variables, functions, loops etc.)? Keep up the great work!
what if you make a geometry based esolang, where you set nodes and create a polyhedra by setting the coordinates of it? for example: coordinate 0, 0, 1 could represent a punctuation. coordinate 0, 26, 50 could represent if, etc...

3:26 Tell me why in all my years of using windows 10 (and the countless times I tried and even looked up "how to type emojis on pc") no one ever told me about this
This language seems to be as, simple as python yet Harder than C++ Why i say it's Harder than C++ is because i don't know how to type out emojis on a computer keyboard
This is cool but i feel like there is an extreme overuse of emojis in places where normal text would substitute it better. Looking at most screenshots of actual emojicode, I find it really hard to even understand what operations are at play. I think emoji as syntax is genius but there needs to be a balance between text and emoji, on top of perhaps choosing emojis that better represent what is happening
wow as a big emoji fan i find this v cool do they have any documentation for why they chose particular emojis for different uses? grape and watermelon seems arbitrary when you could have emojis like 🆕 or ▶ for start and 🆗 or 🛑 or ⏹ for end
hmmm i see the emojis i used in this comment's parent were used in some of the documentation in your vid so i guess those were already in use somewhere else? anyway great vid even though i don't code glad it popped up in my reco's 🤙
Actually vile, worse than my version of python that lets you use print and other protected functions as any variable, but permanently reassigns them to just be the value you input.
The fact that someone was able to write a web server with emojis is astonishing. What's next? An operating system?
...you gave someone an idea, but it will require heck ton of emojis and proper free standing compiler

I love these intros. The philosophy of language and (post-)structuralism references are entertaining asf :3c
