Upgrades are permanent and when you finish the game you can start over with all upgrades like we did when recording, still the final boss is hard as hell ;)
actually the first snes power rangers has a part towards the ends where 6 foot soilders come out at once with no hint of slowdown(so they could have done it the whole game, or a lot more). also tmnt 4 has 4 foot soilders and 5 mousers at once. so that's 9 enemies , plus 2 turtles (no slowdown). a few other games too
My friend and I used to play this a lot. As far as we get was Dark Wizard and Wel always thought he was the last boss. So we didin't know there were more scenses. Lol
after playing this, i could get 8 or 9 large enemies on screen at once(not just 5 like i saw here). 8 or 9 in quite a few different stages, just make enemies follow you across the screen where other enemies are. the game slows down quite a lot when the screen fills, but if rendering ranger,r2, space megaforce, tmnt 4, etc can do it without slowdown, this could have too, they just got lazy, or didn't know how to avoid it side note. the first powers rangers gaame gets 6 putties on screen at once (no slowdown whatsoever) towards the end of the game, if you let them all fall and build up in one area. so that game could have had 6 putties the whole game, cause it handled it no problem
+Rodzilla97 To be fair those games have pretty small sprites, in games like Final Fight series or Ninja Warriors Again where the sprites are big, there are only 3 enemies often (4 enemies in Ninja Warriors Again but no co-op). Also, SNES beat 'em ups have butchered resolution compared to the arcade originals.
Wait, so weapon upgrades carry over to the next round? Didn't know that one. Seems kinda redundant, though, seeing as you guys slaugter most of the enemies with ease.
So I noticed :) Would'a been kinda cool if character levels were also permanent. Some sort of a New Game+ function, plus it would add some more replayability. Not that this game doesn't have any^^
This was made by capcom and came out before the d&d games, so I've always assumed this was a sort of unofficial 'origin story' to the d&d arcade games (tower of doom and shadow over mystara). Am I right or does anyone know for fact?
The problem is this game is a quarter eater so a "legit" longplay would still need an infinite continues cheat. I love this game but man is it ridiculously made for Arcades. Still considering if it were a real copy on arcade you would technically have unlimited continues so long as you have quarters so I'd be willing to let that pass.
+DragonEye there *is* a 99 continues trick in the game, no idea how it was made though, only way for co-op to complete it (it's entirely doable in single player - provided you get a saishi and preserve your continues well). But even then the game is insanely brutal because of how little a margin or error you have in SNES (or if you had a low Budget). To this day I have no idea why I returned to this so many times despite having my ass handed to me each time until I finally beat the red dragon, but does it feel great when you actually make it.
Anyone here that has the PAL version of this that I can buy off of you? I've been starting collecting SNES games since half a year ago, but this is one that is very hard to find.

Hard to believe. 😒
I used to play this game high as a kite with my best friend in the Snes days. Good times lol.
In my opinion game is ok, but hard as hell and sometime very repetitive and boring but we decided to record it so hjere it is, hehe ;)
A two player LP? Gotta have a hell of a friend to sit down through one of these with you.
That's sword that you get when you pick all magic powerups ;)
momentos de nostalgia :) me divertia horas jugando con mi cuñado
I don't know how many times I must've heard that music when you travel to another place. That "Dee do do do de.. de do dee de de!! LOL
A noble effort, even though only 1 player made it to the end.
Still 1 of my favorite Capcom games!
elf and cleric are my favorite classes. :)
Its cool that its like the game was on a CD, because the music sounds like its CD quality.
The very best, been 12 years since I played this game, best mothertruckin game evarrr
muito épico esse jogo, eu adorava jogar na minha infância
5 enemies on screen at once, even in 2 player mode. might be the only snes beat em up that does this
+Rodzilla97 I remember another: Great battle 2. Enemies are very small but there are 5-6 enemies on screen.
+Rodzilla97 And another one... The first Kunio Kun on the SNES has like 5 enemies, but poor frame-rate.

Did you guys not know you could wiggle free of ice and holds? Everything can be escaped from except the Gilmis toss.

The music it's awesome. I love it!!!
Oh thanks for the upload buddy.

10:29 , thats the megaman yashichi thing.
The Yashichi is a symbol in most if not all Capcom games.
my first game of snes ^^

im maybe late but i'd like to know, is that lvl 8 power at the start a cheat or just gameshark codes.

KING!*brand sword*KING!*brands sword again* KING OF DRAGONS: HOOOOOOOOOOOO!!>:D
Dragon's Crown grand-grand father, lol.
Very good!
And here I thought the SNES didn't have an equivalent to Golden Axe
So I noticed :)
Would'a been kinda cool if character levels were also permanent. Some sort of a New Game+ function, plus it would add some more replayability. Not that this game doesn't have any^^
golden axe meets knights of the round
This was made by capcom and came out before the d&d games, so I've always assumed this was a sort of unofficial 'origin story' to the d&d arcade games (tower of doom and shadow over mystara). Am I right or does anyone know for fact?
its like knights of the round but without combos
dope game
I can't handle that there are no combos!! One swing and things die!
JOGEI MUITO.

No combos in the game?
@RedSquadala5Renewed In a way, It kinda is. hehehe
the slimes where always the most annoying enemy in the game.
so... you start with lvl 8 weapons... right...
this game looks like dungoens and dragons
Capcom made 2 arcade games based on Dungeons & Dragons.
Anyone here that has the PAL version of this that I can buy off of you? I've been starting collecting SNES games since half a year ago, but this is one that is very hard to find.
Pretty sure it was never released in Europe.
Get a NTSC version and a game-converter.
videojuegos excelente
9:22 dick move! Mr wizard Dick move
i tried playing this on a snes emulator by myself with only 2 credits and its fucking impossible
nem copiaram o golden axe
Slowdowns aside this is a great port, easily the best Capcom beat 'em up on the SNES.
And god these players suck even with cheats on.
this game is hilarious
