Plus, the Carbon Roller has absolutely dismal range, plus you were on E-Liter Towers. No wonder you got sniped so much. Chargers are pretty good on Ranked, no matter the mode. Sadly, you need to use motion controls to use Chargers well. I would recommend you use motion controls, if possible. Just play Turf War until you get used to them. Once you git gud with gyro, you will be much better with it. Being able to check your flanks, splatter hopping and splatter dashing are things you can't do with analog, plus gyro allows for more fluid aiming. Just give gyro a chance. One final tip, if you try gyro again (even though you probably won't) put the Gamepad on a flat surface and press Y. It centers the camera. It also keeps it steady.

And this is why I got tired of ranked which I hit B+..I always get sooo close to A- only to have it ripped from my hands. The only ranked mode I consistently do well in is Splat Zones. Because even if you get saddled with idiots, if you have a Bubbler/Bomb Rush, keeping the zone safe is easy. Though I will admit, ZackScott's awareness in this game is pretty bad. To be fair, there are squads playing at a competitive level with analog. The problems with Zack is that he's not willing to git gud. He's not competitive. At all. #MotionControlsMasterRace

I still think hands down if you pit a team with motion controls versus a team with dual analog players, the team with motion controls would win 3 out of 4 times. If the teams are mixed though and you have squads with like 3 motion control players and one using dual analog, then a team can probably manage. Also if the analog player is using the roller that also kind of compensates for the lack of motion. The roller is very forgiving for dual analog players. So there are factors that allow people to climb the ranks and compete even if they are analog players.

QueenofTNT The funny thing is that people could've bit the bullet and learned the controls at launch, and even got their practice in through the campaign. But instead took the harder route. I personally think the aerospray, or any gun for that matter is pretty terrible with anything but gyro. You cant turn fast enough with accuracy. Especially if a target is jumping or moving around in any way shape or form. I've accidentally turned off gyro (cause I turn it off to record and make gifs out of things in the plaza and a steady shot makes this easier) and jumped into a game and the end result is nothing but regret.
