I love seeing some open water content. Northern California has some great open water events like Donner lake, Lake Berryessa, Tahoe, and the SF bay.

So many good ones, don’t think the Bay / Alcatraz is on my agenda though 🦈

When I've done that relay we've always tapped each other on the exchanges. You can dive off the bow as the incoming swimmer approaches the stern??

Has the breathing been harder than a typical swim due to the altitude? I just swam the sharkfest swim in Lake Tahoe today(1 mile race), and it was definitely harder to breathe as I live in a low elevation.

Yes that’s a common factor when not swimming at Sea level

Can you do a review on cheap tech suits and which ones are best for young swimmers?

Hot Take - kids under 13/14 shouldn’t be able to wear tech suits 🥵
But… I’m always happy to give my opinions

You can go with inexpensive Speedo and even Sporti. Amazon has deals and swimoutlet, etc. Depends on the age as the high tech suits are more for high school on up in my opinion.

Nothing like video evidence of a rules violation! @5:00

There were some liberties taken, all in good fun tho!
Always fun to jump off the boat - we had our other swimmer touch the back of it before they left . We were under the impression that was the rule 👍🏻

So many power boats around so many swimmers in the main pack and no one has a visibility float on. Does it ever get sketchy with all the boats?
