I like how you show cooking and tent camp life. There is more to the AT than just hiking. You have to live out there too. I like the Jetboil for being so efficient. Mine is a 2004 edition and it still works
I remember that stretch from Wind Gap to Deleware Water Gap very well. I felt the same way….that was the worst part of Pennsylvania. Those little sharp rocks.

To answer your question, I am near the southern end of the AT and hiked up Mount Mitchell in NC. From there, I could see Roan mountain.
