Thank you so much! It's awesome to hear reviews from someone that really seems to know a lot about what they're doing when it comes to languages, and especially cool to see the different strengths and weaknesses, and the options presented. I've been trying to chew my way through Russian for nearly seven years now, and it's - not the worst, per say, but it isn't going great. Having reliable things like these on hand so I can immerse myself into it and then translate things bit-by-bit, then making myself to piece it together, is an incredibly useful way that's helping me with it. I've been doing the same with German, but was struggling to find somewhere that had Russian options that were either reliable as a whole or didn't mess up the basics of it. You've helped me a ton!

Thank you for your video. Spanish is my first language and I love it. Tricky at times with all the variants depending on where you got your Spanish. I am from the Caribbean so my Spanish is consider Latin American Spanish. Rich in words and expresiones from other countries.
I have been using Google translator for years as a quick (very quick and short) translations and I must review it before I use it on any email, article or document I need to translate. So, I agree with you. Is great but not reliable. Getting better every time.
I have been using wordreference for years too. To be fair, the intention of wordreference it’s not to translate phrases but words and it has a very helpful feature when it come to translate words from English to Spanish and vise verse. Not all words translate well from one language to the other.
Wordreference has a group of dedicated moderators by level of experience that can help you to translate words or phrases hard to translate. Some of them can be very “passionate” about their level of experience. Never the less useful.
Thank you for introduce me to Deepl. A new tool in my arsenal for translation needs. And thank you for making this video. Like you, I discovered a few new things with this video :-)

Wow, thanks for your sharing. Although I usually use Immersive Translate to help me look up for unfamilar words' meaning and then memorize them 😂, this video is still meaningful for language learners

Thanks for the video. I can't see an audio playback option on DeepL. That would be a useful function. I've just installed a Firefox extension called ImTranslator that can let you hear small portions. I wonder if folks know of any translators with full (and accurate) audio playback of texts?

In Spanish you only use who ( when asking a question ) it does not work how we use our words

Punctuation and grammar make a big difference in translation. For example, "My cousin,͟ whom͟ I love most in the world,͟ is getting married i͟n͟ a white hat."
