They are very fun if you like to blitz the enemy. It's just charge and beat the enemy into oblivion. It really reached the importance of when to move and even sometimes when to let your opponent have the double turn. It can be a huge advantage to threaten the charge and have them be afraid to move forward.
Thanks, Jeff! The big pink dude will get his own video soon. I'm working on him today, He is going to be a Rogue Idol model that you used to be able to buy on Forge World.
Could you maybe do a video or series on getting into AoS? Like choosing a faction and that kind of stuff maybe. I really really love the models and even some of the lore I’ve seen, and every time I see a new model or army from AoS I want it. But I’ve tried 3 times now and every time I’ve sold my stuff to get more 40k haha. The new seraphon and cities of Sigmar have me back wanting to get into it again. Along with a few other factions. Idk just a bit stuck Could do some basic overviews of each army with lore, models and playstyle. Or just a general video talking about starting and choosing a faction
That's a great idea, I can definitely do that. I was the same, been trying to play since the Dominion box set came out but just couldn't get into it. My club was playing 40k so that made me go into that more. Now we have a good mix at our club with 40k and AoS games each week it's much easier and more motivating to get armies built and on the table. Having the social side of the hobby is so important. Watch this space fora video and thanks for the idea!
@@tabletopskirmishgames I don't play too much and don't know anyone that does AoS so yeah that definitely makes it hard for me to get into Currently making a spreadsheet to compare all the factions haha, you're welcome for the idea. Look forward to seeing whatever you make on it. Love listening to you talk about stuff
Make sure to build a balanced Ironjawz army. Running only the cavalry makes it a all or nothing alpha strike army. You play for the double and are all in or nothing. You definitely crush some people but also risk losing everything. I’d say build a balanced list you’ll have more fun that way
I'm not into alpha strike style of play either. I'm going with just the one unit of 3 cavalry. I like the big monsters so a Rogue Idol and Mawcrusha will be taking 1000 of the points, then I'll go with 3 units of Ardboys, a unit of Brutes, Megaboss, Wardancer and Weirdnob with the two Underworlds sets there if I need to bulk up the points. I think it'll be fun to play especially with the Weirdnob and her Rogue Idol creation stomping around the table 🤣
Looking forward to the painting video!
Nice one! I've got one more model to wait for then I'll be painting them all together and recording it.
One day I'll do a proper Ironjawz! Thanks for the inspiration!
I can definitely recommend it, these have been awesome to build and I can't wait to get them painted and on the table.
Ironjawz are really cool. If I didn't already have an illegal amount of Skaven and Stormcast I'd totally be down to buy some.
They have been awesome fun to build and learn about the lore so far.
One of my favorite models. I've got about 500 points of the army painted and he will be the finale.
Nice! I think these will be super fun to play. Have you played them in a battle yet?

Usually I like to hang back a bit and play the counter attack, but I thought these would be a good army to just go at it 🤣
I love it, I just hope that they add a couple units to Ironjawz
well will see as do with it me i say look at some game play vid to do that stone thing you see how look and move realy neat
I'll be painting him this week!
Great review as always, but please highlight the pink foam mech in the background! 🤩

Stunning model, I bought one and use it as a proxy bloodthirster.
It's so cool!

Appreciate that, thanks, Jason!
Lovely video
Thank you!
AoS just has fantastic models.
These big monsters are the best, so cool

Don't play greenskins but this is such a cool model...
So glad I got it, these could be my favourite army!
