- It's getting nice out, which is a perfect time to get back to free skating! Flying Eagle sent me a pair of their F7 skates, but with a 110mm Super Sonic frame. I took them around Carrboro and Chapel Hill to see how they hold up.

F110h are the most fun all around skates I've ever owned and I been at it since 95...you got all the pads homie, welcome back to blading and trust yourself on some gaps with those. They feel amazing with the added height and speed. You can jump over parked cars hoods with ease on flat ground, and am short lol. Keep up the great content!

Nice review! I have these skates and also have a pair of F6 (my second pair of F6 Flying Eagle Falcons) . The F7 Optimum is great with the 3x110 (my current set-up) but also with the 4X80mm rockerable frame. It's a great company but as you said not always easy to find. I go to Thailand often and a skate shop there carries them. I've gotten all of my Flying Eagle skates from them for a lower price than Roex (Spain) or Inline Warehouse or Pro Skaters Place has them so I've been lucky. As you said, for the $200 price range they are as good as, if not better, than other similar options like Twister, FR, or Imperial. I try to feature my Flying Eagle Skates in all of my urban city skate videos. I'd be more than happy if they sent me a pair of carbon Drift skates to review/wear in my videos! (just in case Tracy from FE is reading...) .

Got 'em, love 'em and for a real rush, skating them with the Ultrasonic frame 125s..Great speed, roll and maneuverability!
I can't find f7 anywhere. And flying eagle hasn't updated their UA-cam in almost a year. I wonder if they went defunct. Inlinewarehouse doesn't restock either

It's often said FE 110 was lower due to the middle wheel shifted back. How lower was it, compared to traditional or general 110 skates, please?
And, if possible, how was FE 110 compared to PS Next 110 with regard to low center of gravity?
(I interpolated them on screens proportionately in juxtaposition, they appeared just about the same, with Next 110 only slightly lower by tiny a bit, but just on paper!)

I also think it will be about the same. Fe does it with the Shirt, powerslide with not waiting any space due to the trinity frame.

I think I prefer the FE for a wider fit. They aren’t Trinity though. Both good boot options.
@@BacktoBlading Thank you for your reply. I have two questions about Trinity. Is the support so good that it is worth going with Powerslide? And does having larger wheels like 100mm really feel like you are skating with 80 mm?

@@ShaugnBriggs what I feel about trinity is that they are more smooth and have a lower Center of gravity Compared to other skates. The supersonic might be a difference because due to the shifted wheel it can be also lower....
I really think the biggest difference between those two skates will be if you want to have a symmetrical wheel setup or not.
I personally would never go for big wheels without trinity but this might be the only exception.
Im also really curious about that boot but I already have 2 3x110mm frames.
Im looking for the flying eagle f7 Optimum with 80mm wheels but in Europe its nearly impossible to get them.
I would have to Import them from canada and with all those fees I would have to pay 50% extra.
Anybody knows if this skate is suitable for wide foot skaters??
What are your favorite skates for skating around the city?
These F7 are pretty great. But maybe some 4x80mm are better for city
@@BacktoBlading depending on the City. My City is full with cobblestone, tram trails, and other enemies on ground.
can you tell me please how do you do a quick stopping on these when for example approaching a dangerous obstacle like car?? thanks in advance
Best advice I have is to drag your foot to slow yourself down. All the advanced techniques might be tough with a quick reaction time. Wear a helmet!
@@BacktoBlading definitely but I just bought Macroblade 80’s with the ABT brake and you reviewed a similar skate from Rollerblade with the 80mm/82a wheels and you did some power slides which gives me hope I might be able to take the brakes off these. Thinking of going up to 84mm Hydrogen wheels with ABEC-7 or ABEC-9 bearings. It’s not for anything crazy just maybe learn some cool transitions and backwards skating

Also to the blading community topic.
It would help out allot if you had the next trick ready video ready sooner. I'm not saying it's your fault but I only had one day I could skate after you had posted the soul trick. While I had a fat session (which I could record during in prep for the tricks so again not your fault) literally the day before you posted the soul grind announcement. If you could have the next trick announcement ready say Wednesday morning that extra weekend would help out allot. Cropping the video and sending now for my soul grind.
We give 3 weeks to submit clips. I think that’s more than enough time for most people. Totally understand that not everyone will make it in though.
@@BacktoBlading it is. And I'm not arguing that. It's just fallen last 2 challenges I had decent sessions like the day before you posted the challenge. I also have a shitty schedule with work right now working like 50 60 hours a week. So I'm gonna hit mizous and record them next session if you wanna make that the trick. Again I love the community challenge I really do.
The frame length is 251mm, its nice frame, i want to buy the new FR 3D 110 frame, its only 230mm!

@@emmanuelriou7174 yea that's true and am not even sure if it will fit my flying Eagle F7 skates. I bought adapt symetrics 90mm frame and the frame holes were smaller! i had to buy metal filer and file it till the bolt fit.
@@BacktoBlading I think it's because the front wheel is slightly rockered, so your turning pivot is actually further back and on 2 wheels versus a shorter frame
200 dollars? Where did you find them cheaper than 300!
Can you help me? Are these skates comfortable? Worth buying as a skate when I'm trying to learn? I don't want to waste my money.
They are comfortable if you size correctly. My feet measure 27 cm by 11 cm and I wear a 43 in this model. Dollar for dollar, one of the best values out there for just over $200, but hard to find in stock anywhere. Just a quick question regarding flying eagles, I want to get F6S Falcons. Do flying eagles come up narrow or wide? Would you recommend going a size up or with your regular shoe size?
I’ve heard more narrow, but I haven’t tried the F6S
I had many recommendations if you have really wide feed to go one size up. Im somewhere in the middle of size 42 with my 263mm feet and will take the risk of not sizing up. I'll let the liner do the Job to break in.

Is it just me or on these, and the stingray frames, the front wheel is slightly rockered?
I didn’t notice a rocker but you might be right
@@BacktoBlading I did more research, they aren't technically rockered, but when you put weight on the back 2 wheels in a 00x0 setup it creates a semi rockered feeling for turning, so you get the speed and stability benefits of a longer frame, and turn easier than a OOO setup apparently.
I had no issue gliding and using big wheel skates even though I haven't skated since I was in middle and high school, and bought a pair of 4 wheel skates and used them for 3 days, weird how I'm now a better skater than I used to be by watching youtube videos and trying stuff out for 2 days.
These are identical to the oxello mf900 I think
Supersonic 110mm or Imperial 110mm frames please help i need your advice
Both awesome. I was happier with the Supersonic frames because they’re a bit longer.
@@BacktoBlading does the center wheel position make a huge difference if we compare both frames, like maybe stability? Or something else
@@tflo2302 Supersonics 110 carve way sharper than imperial 110. Supersonics feel like 4x80 with the speed of 110....imperial 110 feel like a 110 frame.

@@tflo2302 I just explained the supersonics purpose. If you want to carve faster get the supersonics, if the wheel looks affect you that much over performance get the Imperials.
