The sad part about their argument is that the two already had hate about the song before they even listened to it. So they didn't listen to the lyrics.
Bruh... the lyrics might be about the game but they use it as metaphor... they talking about them... this is fire... you only looking at the surface of the lyrics instead of the deeper meaning...
Word! The verses are the same schemes as if they are talking about themselves as a XG Anthem. I think if anything, the track and beat of the song has the Valorant sounds in it that isn't usually something XG would lay down for their originals but even if you never heard of the game or ignore that it's a title track for the competition, it still works as an XG drop. That's why they're Undefeated.
Just like their song winter without you that mention xmas does not make it a xmas song... its about missing someone... just happened that winter and xmas is the season that amplifies the feeling of missing someone...

I didn't even know about the game when I heard the song and didn't get that from the song. Much love ❤talking about our opinions is how we grow lol
This song is double meaning that can be about the spirit for the gamers it also can be about XG if you see part of lyric "Even though it's been a long way Even at the top, I'm wide awake Yeah, you know it's XG...And we'd do it all again Just remember the time Remember the climb" it's about how they struggle as trainee until now they're succeed they keep remember where they're come from.
I didn't know it was a gaming song until after people started saying it, so the song is excellent and the effects about it being a gaming deal song is mental.
Nah, hard disagree with those two. If you knew 0 information about who this song was in collaboration with then it would just sound like a song about talking your shit and being "UNDEFEATED". Nobody mentioned anything about shooting a gun or lasers or whatever it is you even do in valorant so the context of the song is indeed a vibe that can fit with whatever. I think y'alls "critique" only works if you know it's in relation to valorant. Take that away and the logic of your argument falls apart.

I've never wanted to scream shut up and watch and listen so bad in my life. They don't really hate it, they just think this causes engagement. It does but this gets old and comes with a cost.
Purple Rain album. Undefeated works for XG as song if you break down the lyrics, it not only works for the VCT competition but also works for any sporting event if you just hear it play in the background. Alphaz would love for XG to perform this song live on their tour because it stays on theme as an Anthem to who XG is - Undefeated.
This song is not just about Valorant, it's about gaming also about their work on the way. Valorant isn't even mentioned in the song. Gaming references yes Valorant no
😂 It's funny how the lyrics went over yall 🥷heads. Yea this song was a collaboration with Valorant, but its more than a gaming song. Take Valorant out of the picture and this song is perfect for anything. Put it on a 2k soundtrack, use it as a walkout song for a fighter. Throw it on a WNBA commercial or team song. Use it in a movie about someone preparing for something big. Or maybe it's a song about their own growth. This imo is one of their best tracks and I'm a heavy hip hop head since the early 90s.

Wack ass reaction from them fools on the top. Not even hearing the lyrics is also talking about XG's come up, and literally they are UNDEFEATED. Because ain't nobody touching them.
Good debate. First time hearing the argument of not vibing with the song because it being directly tied to a game/movie. Get it. The other side is the song can hit hard even if it wasn’t Valorant related. It could play in any game / sporting event as a hype up song. Great to see the two sides of argument though as XG’s discography ranges in genres, there will be tracks that aren’t favorable to some than others.

I can hear this song being played at the Olympic Finals as well as any concert.

Saying that they made this song for the competition because the money was too good isn't degrading them. He was referring to the fact that because this track was for the competition, the group was kind of forced to incorporate some element that associates it to the game, which it really doesn't. I wanna know if yall think Marvel coming to TDE to make the Black Panther album is different from Riot Games (Valorant) coming to XG to make a song. I wanna know if yall think Marvel coming to TDE to make the Black Panther album is different from Riot Games (Valorant) coming to XG to make a song. Cause if youre gonna say you didnt like that album because its a brand deal you gotta be lying. That BP album was full of BP bars, and so was this song, both have lyrics talking about the game/movie and themselves as artists so...idk something aint adding up.
Still enjoy the content from yall!
That’s what we were saying in the video. There are song in the black panther album that we didn’t like because it was about black panther. But some songs on the album were just songs that fit the vibe of the album and movie. Same thing with spiderverse soundtrack. This song isn’t a bad song and we never said it was lol it’s just not for everyone- Nandez
Wrong the song isn’t even really about the game. Listen to the lyrics y’all your boy is letting y’all know this song can be more than just a gaming song. I’m convinced y’all came into this thinking it’s just a brand deal. Listen to the lyrics y’all missed on this one.
It's about them too. Don't get it twisted!! If you are listening to the lyrics, they don't say anything about Valerent!!
Yeah, the song was written for Valorant, but it’s not ABOUT Valorant. It’s a great song with a great beat, lyrics, rapping, and vocals. Take away the Valorant branding and it’s still the exact same song.
Love Chisa, Jurin, Maya, and Coco! But yeah they are all amazing!
😍😍❤❤🔥🔥
This is definitely a game song but it’s also a good song ❤
League of Legends has really good music ❤❤
Phoenix
Take over
Awaken
Giants (Kiki Palmer is in it)
Anything KDA.
Just say you didn’t listen to the lyrics bruhh. This song is a collab with Valorent sure, but it could also be a stand alone track and could go with any moment in time when there is a competition or anything like that. This song also is more than just about gaming but also about XG’s musical career journey. But y’know if you never listen to the lyrics then stop reacting to music and let the guy with purple lights room do it on his own cuz he clearly gets it.
Dude your bias Hinata is a gamer just saying, and she has more heat in this song than in many as you been asking for - what happened there?
Do you guys filter the original song? It sounds a bit flat.
can the dude in the purple room get his own channel bc THEN i’d subscribe
Argument is whack AF. Song is 🔥🔥🔥. Bangin ass 808’s on a trap beat with rap and vocals. wtf is not to like?
It's Juria Nandezz lol the last few videos you say chisa everytime 😂😂 so now if you think you see Chisa it's Juria
But anyways I liked this song 😩😂😂
Isn’t NewJeans ‘how sweet’ a brand deal with Coca Cola???
No hate to my girls
Seems he change lot of bias 😂🔥
