  • 12th May 2024. Osmo Pocket 3 firmware update!
Filmed at the last minute on my old mobile, so sorry about the poor audio quality!
At last, what many of us have been shouting about on the dji osmo pocket 3 Facebook group. A much needed, in my opinion, update! Keeps lens in same position as screen, so when you point at something, it actually films what you point at and not where it wants! You'll find the option on the right of the FPV option under settings!
    Hope you enjoy it too!
Oh, also includes some other handy features including iron to never shut the camera off and an option for 4k lives!
    Thanks for watching, cheers,
    John.

@John: I tried this new FPV mode but find it very hard to spot the difference with the normal FPV mode. What was the exact problem that has been solved now?

Basically the camera head/lens would wander and float about too much. You'd do a chat to camera, aim the camera at an object, and it wouldn't really aim at the object. I guess in simple terms, fpv, turn camera to 90 degrees, see where lens goes. New fpv, turn camera to 90, camera aims down at 90! Hope that helps. Lot better imo. Let me know if you get the same. Many thanks.

@@Life_of_John got it. So it is more snappy and accurate when pointing the camera to a subject. Thanks for explaining this!

Yes, my phone mic needs a clear out... but I've left notes in the comments! Oh, and the title says it all!
