Knowing them, if this song had a music video,, it'll be something completely different than what you'd expect. Like 50 crocodiles wearing ponchos having a fist fight on a bridge over a volcano and they'd learn a moral lesson half way through and they'd begin swing dancing and then jump off the bridge into the volcano.

I've never heard this song but there is something so NOSTALGIC and beautiful about it, it's perfect and it almost made me cry like some other songs of Caravan Palace.

I agree. I like the version of this song on their chill mix even more, and how it smoothly transitions into another beautiful song (sadly unreleased) that does bring tears to my eyes. It feels like the perfect extension of this song.

If I had to mention a song to be in my top of the better songs of the whole history, this would be in it. This song shows that it isn't necessary to have lyrics all over the song, and that the combination of instruments and electronic sounds can make a beautiful song. This is easily the 20th time I listen to this song, and it feels better every time I listen to it. Congratulations, Caravan Palace, since you are amazing and I hope you continue doing songs like this one.
This may sound overly dramatic, but this song has saved my life multiple times. So many times when I'm hysterical or feeling really really bad, and nothing seems to help, this song always manages to calm me down and see things more rationally. That's why Caravan Palace will always be my favorite group, and Human Leather Shoes for Crocodile Dandies will always and forever be not only my favorite song, but the greatest song I've ever heard in my ongoing life. Thank you Caravan Palace. 💙

To me the song gives an aura of times past. This ghostly background, repetitive, but poignant in its feeling of what was once. And yet this melodic sound - well, lets' say, I love it!

I used this tune really recently in my latest animation showreel! For anyone who has or hasn't made a reel, sometimes the most time-consuming thing can be deciding which musical track to use! Then once you've landed on a track, you can spend even more time trying to get your material and cuts between shots to line up with the music's beat etc. I gave this track a go, and right from the offset, about 95% of everything just clicked! Which NEVER happens!! Caravan Palace: Amazing both in and outside of the work environment! :D

Whatever this is the best track of this album. Love music that gives you goosebumps and euphoria. You dont get that premium shit a lot anymore.
