Marshall JMP1 Preamp OD1 channel overview.

This is the second video in the JMP1 series. In this installment I take a look at the OD1 channel of the preamp. I do talk a little bit about the OD2 channel as well. I run some effects through it and give and explanation on how I set up the channel, eq, and signal path.

Awesome soundsand playing, just bought a JMP1 cant wait to get it.
how do you connect it to the Fryette PS2 ? does it work as a power amp for the JMP1 ?

I took the jmp1 main output to the line input of the ps2 then sent the ps2 to the speaker cab and mic’d with a 57. I took the other line output direct to my interface and used the wall of sound plug in from two notes. The PS-2 is a 50w all tube power amp.

All channels are great in the JMP1 maybe change the IR or use a real tube power amp and a cab

I did send it to a tube power amp the ps-2 is a 50w 6l6 power amp. I’ve found that the jmp1 does like warmer speakers.
