I have these on my Katanas. One downside is the serrated edge has started to cut into my boots. Specifically, on the outside edge over the tongue on each side. Boots are Burton Ions. I agree they are great straps for lots of control with a minimalist design.

Burton quality issue, not a strap issue.

@@AngrySnowboarder For what its worth, the Katanas and boots are new this season and this did not happen on my previous set of Rome Targas which had a smooth edged ankle strap, also with burton boots, both purchased in 2019. I know Burton has quality issues, and maybe this is at least in part a design flaw, but the serration is definitely at play here where a smooth strap wouldn't have caused this in the roughly 20 days I've spent on this setup. Anyways, I've sealed the problem area with some shoe goo for now. Hope to get one more season out of em' at least but I am guessing I'll be making a warranty claim early next year.

Thought it was just me, but my Katanas have cut into my boots as well. I have size 10.5 K2 Enders with size L Katanas.

I have the Rome Cleaver that you recommended and these straps are excellent. It feels too comfortable to be so supportive, but it really does it all.
