With some of these "bad" foods I wonder whether they are more healthy when fermented, which is traditional in most cultures. For example when soy beans are cultured into tempeh or natto, when raw, unpasteurised milk is made into kefir, yogurt, cheese etc, even some grains when properly fermented to make bread- all organic, non gmo, grass fed... ?

Although we don’t eat soy , peanut , corn etc. all legume we eat soak and sprout before cooking. It helps. I do ferment some veggies, never ferment tomato, and bell pepper.

At 32 I'm losing my memory, struggling with brain fog, insomnia, dry eyes and mouth, weakness, fat and sugar cravings, constant hunger. I went to multiple doctors they check my blood, heart, MRI.everything is ok according to them, but I feel like I am dying, they prescribe antidepressants which makes me feel sicker.
There is a history of inflammatory disease in my family. despite that nobody recommended following a certain diet. after eating white bread, milk, potatoes for the first 25 years of my life and feeling fine, I did not realize consuming them could make me sick. I wish I would have known sooner. Since last few days, I am on a low carb diet and I already see improvements in cognition, coordination, and balance.
Thank u from the bottom of my heart, Dr. Sten Ekberg, literally a lifesaver.
It's very sad and alarming that worldwide(7.8 billion people ), 3 of 5 people die due to chronic inflammatory diseases while the governments and WHO are more concerned and impose severe restrictions for an epidemic of flu that kills 2 million people.

Since I was 8 years old, now I am 50, I have been diagnosed with Hydradentenitis Supervia. Spent years trying harsh meds and treatments, did not help, sometimes they made it worse. I was introduced to a Holistic Dermatologist 5 years ago, and focusing on my diet, I was encouraged to go Keto, but also removing the nightshades and some fungal foods. I did go through three sensitivity tests to pick out items that I needed to avoid. I finally became into remission three years ago, no more draining tumors, my skin is clear for the first time in my life. It is very true that diet plays an integral part in your health over all. It is also true, just like with a diabetic regime, what works for one individual, may or may not work for another. Great video, thank you for posting.

Really informative - I've heard a lot of this before but not all in one dose . Years ago I was handed a sheet of foods not eat when diagnosed with the beginnings of heart disease , 2 more pages of what not to eat a few years ago when diagnosed with diverticulosis , was originally warned about night shade veg when I was 10 years old - I have felt for years that there's NOTHING I can eat that isn't doing some internal damage . I think I eat pretty well but do have food sensitivities that besides continual intestinal pain , manifest as roseacea , joint pain and general malaise . I'm really concerned for my grandchildren's nutrition . I had never heard that that removing the skin and seeds from tomatoes b4 cooking them greatly reduces their effect - thanks for this info .

Correct. However, there is deception in organic produce, at least in Australia, like organic milk that is not only homogenized but processed with UHT! Then, I once bought "organic" chicken with some bone malformations the told me this chook was kept in an extremely confined space with no ability to move. I complained to the manufacturer, and was told that in order for the poultry to be organic, it is kept inside all the time, no sun exposure and fed certified organic feed.

I am very limited in anything with phosphorus, sodium and potassium. I cannot have whole grains but instead have white breads etc in moderation, little to no dairy which is easy, I don't drink milk, I prefer almond milk.
Certain veg and fruit are to be avoided while others are advised. I can have eggs, tofu, cod, chicken and enough fruit and veg for a well rounded diet. It's not easy but gout is very painful and I'm trying to keep my kidneys from getting any worse. When it comes to choosing between eating poorly or improving my health it's a no brainer.

I’m sensitive to everything under the sun! I have a genetic predisposition, unfortunately, (HLA DQ8, and MTHFR hetero)and have been seeing a integrative medicine doctor for 15 years I had +4 and +3 for most of these things, plus a bunch of others and I wish I would’ve been told the back then that it meant that I have a leaky gut! Now when I eat any of this stuff after trying to stay away from it, I get intense joint pain, bloating in the midsection, puffiness in my eyes and face and fingers, and instant weight gain. It is so hard to stay on track and stay away from these foods! Any advice on occasionally eating these things?

When rent, fuel, utilities and grocery prices keep going up and up but the income doesn't it's only a matter of time before one can't afford much in the way of food. Food banks give out most of their food in the form of pasta, beans, cereals, canned goods and rice. Grain fed beef here is $4-12 a lb and grass fed is $8-16 a lb, even at Walmart. Grain fed pork is $2-3 a lb. and there's NO grass fed pork available. Whole chickens are around $5 but a pasture raised one is $10.
