EDIT: Just realized I totally bungled the objection to souls, if you want to see the objection that I intended to make see this podcast here. twopersonsthreereasons.substa... The point is supposed to be about epistemic access, not whatever dumb thing I said.

Matthew, I am a former student of Michael Huemer and just stumbled on to your channel through seeking out some recent interviews with him. I have watched a lot of interviews with him and just want to say how well you meet him in his theories and get into deeper corners of thought than pretty much all other interviewers. This is really valuable to me and I hope you continue to invest time into this work. Thank you so much.

Is it not plausible that there is a smallest amount of time or space which can not be divided any futher? So when we reach that, this will be the last switch of the lamb.

Yeah but it seems like we can still coherently think of subsections of it.

@@deliberationunderidealcond5105 Idk but even if, why would that matter? Isnt the question about a lamb in our actual universe? And in general just because we can imagine or not imagine something has no bearing on if it is metaphysically possible or not possible.

@@nosteinnogate7305 If modal rationalism is true, which I think it is, then what is ideally conceivable is the same as what is possible. And the questions about infinity are not about the actual world but instead about possible worlds.

@@deliberationunderidealcond5105 way late reply, there are well-respected theories on which space is emergent, this would of course undermine this counter example, might want to talk to someone like Sean Carrol about this
