Sir I have a doubt regarding capacity factor. In irrigation generally we hava information about each month consumtive use for a certain crop in a certain place and soil property which also give us the information how much water easily available for a crop in its root zone. And according to that we release different amounts of water in each month. This water in each month can either be given throughout the said month and water requirement of crop is full filled or can be given after certain interval of time calculated by Cu per day and total water for month is given in lesser duration and thus discharge increases . So if we calculate all those discharges in each month then we can found all discharges are eqal calculated by using time factor though each month total water volume is unequal and now if we calculate mean discharge then. that value is same as those discharges. And now if we take ratio of mean discharge of given duration to design discharge then answer comes 1. Why is it so???.
To calculate mean discharge by using time factor value is wrong or correct. Please answer me sir...
