I won’t disagree with you on Lucid, but Tesla and Rivian are the real deal. NIO would not exist if it weren’t for Tesla. Their interior design language was inspired by Tesla, and Rivian is following that same minimalist, clean interior direction. Respect the pioneer.

@@jesusazuela8913 You might not like Tesla (I feel ya on that) but the market does. NIO is little more than a gnat compared to the colossus that Tesla has become. In Q1 2023 the Model Y was the best selling car in the world. NIO's sales have been trending down this year. I have no idea what NIO will do in the second half of the year but NIO's Q1 results are going to be a Cluster Frack. NIO has too many distractions and is not focused. Adding to that are its proprietary swap stations that are too expensive and require staffing. In Europe I would prefer them to work with existing charge stations and use that cash elsewhere. Even if they have the best EVs the market doesn't care. If NIO does come to the US, I expect that the results will be even worse than what we've seen in Europe. And we know how well that has worked. Hope I'm wrong as I have NIO stock. Ouch!

but do it have the "one pedal" drive when cue driving in packed traffic ? as far as i remember, the old models, had it so that u could press the pedal hard for a couple of seconds until a red dot came in the screen, and then it would auto drive so to say, when cue driving in dence traffic..

For so many years, none of the car designs interest me like in the 90s Japanese does. Worse was the adoption of big mouth grilles, unnecessary design details, i.e. lines, creases and angles... Total turn off. Until the rise of the car makers in China, which I say, I like their design and their design are what I agreed upon. Clean and neat. And now I am very excited on Chinese cars than any other makers. Their EVs introduction are just in explosive numbers.

Wow! Playing your ES6 video in my living room on my 75 inch screen was making my living room look better. I think it was those colors, coming from that ES6 interior.
I love the looks of the NIO cars, and being in the U.S. I would only choose a NIO for one reason. While I also like the looks of a Tesla, I would choose a NIO over Tesla.
Why?
After the Tesla and Ford deal, I am worried about buying an EV I won't be able to charge. And It is becoming well known that lines at charging stations can be long. Yes, we need NIO to manufacture in the U.S. and begin an infrastructure for battery swapping and charging ASAP. I imagine that lines, waiting for chargers, Tesla + Ford or not, will get even longer as EV sales start increasing. There are a lot of shell stations here and others, so I hope that would make it easier for NIO here.

Hi again! I wonder about the new seats in the EL6 (ES6) A bit difficult to explain but in some videos the ES6 seats have like 3 longitudinal seams/stitchings, while in some other videos the seats only have a transverse seam/stitching. I wonder why they are different. Is it because of nappa leather or vegan leather or is there another explanation.
NIO Pilot needs a lot of work, it seems. All those cameras and hardware but lacks the software to center the car in the lane, for example, without drifting/near swerving, as evident in 9:08. Before you disabled NIO Pilot, it looked like you were correcting hand on steering wheel when NIO Pilot was drifting to the right. Bjørn Nyland has a video that demonstrates this problem in greater detail.

😐When will NIO change the inside cluster digital and touch screen position look/design? Is still same old 5 years look for the touch screen and position. And i still preferred some physical buttons for ventilate and air conditioner control with knob or radio and volumn knob!!!
