I will never understand how she went from wanting to execute Kirito and being a bit of a bitch in season 3 to being a sweetheart in 4. That's a hell of a change! Especially since unlike Asuna, Alice graduated from SAO University for Badasses because unlike Asuna, Alice is consistently a badass in combat and when threatened yet when she's so sweet and caring towards Kirito. Honestly, I think Alice is a better match for Kirito than Asuna.

If you read LN in alicization ending, the lyric of unlasting really match up with the ending considering alice's situation is like that at the end. Alice is the strongest character in terms of characteristic and mental at least for me. Even though her life completely turn upside down like that in the end, she still stay strong and fight for many people she cares and for her world.
@@mini4641 don't talk about the light novels. All i know is after War of Underworld ends, Kirito and Asuna are stuck there for some time. But I've never read them since I find reading books boring

I'm gonna cry when Alice realize her life has been a lie, all her friends, family and life is all programmed and is just a virtual life. The life she lived in is a fake.
That's like saying the time Kirito and Asuna spent inside SAO was a waste of time. Even if it was a virtual world, Kirito still lived while he was trapped there with no choice of leaving. Alice has been living with the world she was given.
The UW is just as real as the real world and so are its people.
Wrong, the inhabitants of the Underworld are copies of human souls, they are not programmed, the are not artificially made, they learn and laugh and cry just like real humans, because they are.
Its not a fake life...those people in the underworld are fluctlights or souls ...the feelings they shared together are true
Argotic those ai had actual souls hence why we see them bleeding and screaming in agony when hurt. They died just like regular humans and their soul flickered out as a result

This song is basically Alice telling Kirito that she loves him, but knows because she’s not a real human he could never love her (and also because he has Asuna). So she feels left out and wants to be reborn as a real human.

Now, THAT, was beautiful. I typically don’t listen to English Covers (on rare occasions) but that was absolutely beautiful. You definitely portrayed the song the way LiSA did.
I can never put together the pieces on why they chose this song for WoU or how this song connects to Alice and Kirito’s relationship as Alice doesn’t love him romantically (this was confirmed by the author himself if anyone wanted to ask).
But just looking at the original song alone, fantastic cover. 100/10. Will be listening to it again

This song is so beautiful and to be honest, when I watched the ending of episode one of the anime I mentioned above, I was literally crying how Alice cried and hold Kirito, while she didn't know what to do...

God danm it SOA has a way of emotionally torturing you. Alicization was worse. It had a way of making even grown men cry. As much bashing as SOA got there is no denying it elicited emotions from everyone.
Now that I hear it's meaning, i relate to it so much...
