Lets say you are taking major exam in 5 months. Anki just give you 2.y month for hard, 5.x months for good etc. Is there a way to see it in days so you can better correlate that to the countdown timer. As you study for step 1 how are determining which days to see this cards so you don't have 15k cards scheduled for the day before you test?
I'm actually working on a video for this and glutanimate built an add-on to help (not sure when it will be released). For now, the best solution is probably to upgrade to the V2 scheduler (video coming out soon) and create a filtered deck for all cards that will schedule past your exam date. That way you can do those cards and know its the last time you'll see them if you hit good. (Many of those I actually feel comfortable never seeing again at this point)
how do u reschedule cards by batch? etc: i am gonna cram for school the next week and i wont do any anki that week, so how do i stop anki or a specific deck that week? is there a way?
m m I would strongly recommend not doing that, but we’re going to try and make a video on it soon. If you’re going to miss a whole week though, you may be best off to just make those cards up after your exam. Our video method will involve the rememorize add on and hopefully will be released next week
@@AnKingMed oh man believe me i dont want to do that, but my school system is raw science(anatomy, bio, histo, physio) for the first 2 years, and people so far told me zanki or lightyear are not enough for that. or are they? (etc: head and neck in detail, cns physio in detail)
@@XhMOod12345 I'm honestly not sure.. I haven't covered those parts yet. If you can try to keep up on your reviews, but if not definitely be sure to pass your classes :)
@@AnKingMed i can pass my classes no problem, but do u think keeping up with my reviews is more important than a 4.0 gpa? if so, i will just cram the uni material tbh,
Why are you saying that you can't use reschedule when the load balancer is on? I use both load balancer & reschedule ... I'm not really sure but I think the reschedule overrides the load balancer effect
Nice video I think there is a huge problem with your method: Rescheduling resets the ease to 250%. So itll actually be less efficient to reschedule the cards in some instances. did you know that?
I didn't know that so thank you for sharing! I think the ability to reschedule cards around my test dates is still important and probably worth that small sacrifice.
I recently discovered the "Re-memorize" add-on which allows you to reschedule the cards, but maintain the ease and interval if desired. It is a very good add-on I'd recommend you check out
