I have visited #Tenerife island with my family for holiday in February 2019 for the week. We have stayed in Los Abrigos but travelled the island all around throughout the holiday. To get the best experience in the island the car is the must have!

Hello! I am so jealous for you as I would like to back there!
Some advice for you:
First of all rent a car is necessary -without car you would be very limited. There are many activities and places to visit in Tenerife so it depends on your preference. I would highly recommend to visit:
1) Masca - also as day trip you can hike from Masca with such a beautiful views. Make sure you organise the trip before you decide to hike.
2) El Teide National Park - the place is amazing (again go there by car, otherwise you will be trapped half a day on the bus with other tourists.
3) Garachico - very small and unique town.
4) Parque del Drago, Icod (Oldest Dragon Tree) - if you in Garachico go to this place as well, beautiful park and oldest dragon tree.
5) Natural swimming pools - Piscina Natural de Puerto Santiago (Natural Swimming pool), Playa Abama (great beach with natural pool)
6) El Medano and Playa Amarilla (Very beautiful wild beach)
7) Playa de las Teresitas (stunning beach)
8) Los Gigantes
Also worth to mention:
* Playa de Benijo
* Anaga
* Taganana
* Candelaria
* Mirador Pico del Inglés

Thank you for great tips! I am going to Tenerife next week. Only what I miss here are black beaches typical for Tenerife (Playa de Arena is one of them) or sea cave Cueva del Tancon, it look awesome :)

It looks amazing :) but should we bring jackets when we are planning to go to the Teide national park in August?
Hey Barbora, I would say keep something with you in case you get cold because it can be windy in there, but it should be warm, we were in February and it wasn't too bad :) If you want to go on top of the Teide with the cable car, definitely prepare to bring jackets and cover legs as well as on top mountain it can be about 9 degrees even in August :)

este video tiene latencia, porque no se ha pasado a 24 frames antes de subirlo a la plataforma,,, grave con filtro polarizador o de densidad neutra, evitará zonas quemadas,,, de resto muestra entorno muy bonito,,

I used to live in that second heaven for ten years (I'm not from there) But moved back a year ago. I seriously can't survive in the cold and depressing country where I am right now. 😢 I really regret moving away from that place. Living there felt like an endless summer holiday.

Ohh so nice we went there tenerife jan.28 we stay there for 1week then march we went to another island la gomera,la palma ,lanzarote and fueteventura..that tike the water is super cold i cant swim so just stay there and enjoy 😊😊
That's amazing! Which island you loved the most? I know they all are very different, probably is hard to choose haha :) We had amazing weather in Tenerife in February - on one day at reached to 34 degrees!

Its very similar do Madeira. I was wondering how Tenerife is to live and work..
I would say Madeira is very green and beautiful but Tenerife is unique island :)
@@zygibu Hi. For sure it is. They are two different places. There is an island 2h by boat from Madeira called Porto Santo and it is very dry too. Well...the extreme side of Madeira, Caniçal is very dry. Quite interesting to be honest. But Madeira is a very expensive place for tourism. Things here are more expensive than the main land. The Canary islands is way cheaper than Madeira for everything. I have never been there but madeirans go a lot to the Canary islands and they all say the same thing.

Con questo montaggio ruffiano sembra bellissima....ma in realtà è uno dei posti più brutti spacciati x belli. Urbanizzazione selvaggia, alveari umani al posto degli alberghi, spiagge appena passabili se non artificiali, clima x chi si accontenta di poco, fognature che scaricano direttamente in mare....un odorino....al tramonto sulla promenade...
