Ubuntu and its flavors: Kubuntu, Lubuntu and Xubuntu

Ubuntu is a Linux distro developed by Canonical Ltd and has become popular among computer users, being used on workstations, personal computers and servers (Ubuntu Server Version).
However, Canonical offers other Linux distros (Sabores), which are Kubuntu, which uses the KDE graphical environment, Lubuntu, which promises lightweight and the possibility of allowing old computers, with a small amount of RAM memory and a processor with little processing power , back to "life", extending the time of use of the computer, with the use of a recent and updated operating system. And also the distro (or flavor / flavor) Xubuntu, which uses XFCE graphical interface.
