great job on explaining. You clarified a great deal of concepts for me , I am an online student, and your video really helped in giving that in class experience I miss out on due to not being in a physical classroom.

We needed to learn this in O level back when I was a kid. That would have made a whole load of linear algebraic problems, and a lot of the more advanced mathematics which followed, a whole lot easier.
Something interesting I figured out. If you can do row operations on a matrix to make it look like you only swapped two rows the determinate of that matrix will always be zero. I thought I would find a contradiction because swapping two rows makes the determinate negative, but row operations have no effect. But negative 0 = positive 0 so the contradiction doesn't exist. I think this also means that such a matrix is not linearly independent.
Wouldn't the determinant be a positive 20? since you switched the rows, isn't that the reason it's -20? So isn't the determinant of the original matrix 20? I'm confused.
