there are things in life that I believe we take for granted. This man's talent is one of those things. The silence speaks to the absolute respect for incredible talent. I have lost count for the amount of times I have watched this video. He makes the most profound things sound so simple. He has done more for music then most his age. I am like you, speechless. I am so glad we get to experience this and not just a hand full who attended.
Hey Matt, really appreciate the mature and heartfelt reaction. So few of these on youtube... my jaw dropped a year ago when I discovered Jacob and my mouth hasn't shut since. His flashier stuff is amazing but it's actually his quieter stuff that I find affecting me more deeply in the long term. "Ocean Wide, Canyon Deep" is another one that I find super moving... having said that; have you checked out some of the tracks from his latest album (maybe you did, can't remember)? The production (mix) on that alone is pretty insane. Would also be curious to get your take on his "beat sketches" :-) Anyway, taking it easy (twice) ;-)
Jacob, - a lover, a friend, a brother and a teacher to all of us…. All the silence throughout this piece, all the beauty, …words will never do it justice 🌿 Thanks for sharing this experience with us 🙏
Thanks for your JC reaction! Wonderful to see you melt down! What a spectacular song! I felt totally transcended. Discovered his "fully" genius - "Jacob Collier Plays the Same Song In 18 Increasingly Complex Emotions" ua-cam.com/video/EWHpdmDHrn8/v-deo.html By the way. Heard about Swedish pop- jazz fusion group Dirty Loops? 3 supermusicians fused into one living organism. Quincy Jones & producer David Foster took'em under their wings. Recommend some of their latest hits ; Work shit out (nr 1!),Rock you, Breakdown, World on Fire. Any! They got a huge worldwide fan base so there'll be more than 1 to watch at u'r hopingly coming reaction.

This live version is actually impossible to watch without crying for me.
Yes! Me and my mom (rip) I’ve cried 1,000,000 times listening to this!!!

Just discovered a great cover You Are The Reason by Marcelito Pomoy, when you have time
There is a group with whom Jacob performed… perhaps you could react to them, too… a group named Snarky Puppy… You’ll thank me later…
You should check out ocean wide canyon deep by him if you haven't already
