- Our worst fear exploring abandoned buildings is being attacked by an unknown person, so when we are faced with FOUR HUGE men in a house with one way in and one way out! In the middle of the woods we were more scared than we have ever been before!!

I think listening to them trashing the house was more heartbreaking than anything. You know it happens, but not while you are there.🥺
Oh dear what can the matter be, Matt and Andy got trapped in a lavatory, they were there from Monday to Saturday, somebody knew they were there!
That was well scary. And I think now you completely understand how the person under the bed must've felt.
The saving grace here was you didn't have Bear with you. Shame the place was ransacked!

Guys! I was literally holding my breath! I can't imagine! So glad you had your foot against that door! It is such a shame people destroy other peoples property like that. Even if it is abandoned, that is/was someone's life. I love looking at their things and, like Matt, try to imagine what they were like. Stay safe!

That was a travellers site guys, you had a close call I think, they were most likely in there looking for scrap metal. When you reversed back to the site, I said aloud ‘noooo’ then you shone the torch in there, I was genuinely worried for you two! Anyways, great vid as always, keep it up and keep safe, much love.

I jumped out of my seat when the hand came around the corner to try to open the door! So glad Andy had his foot on the door! Sure a shame that the house was ransacked!😞 Y’all found some cool things in the short time you had to look.
Andy is a hero for stopping them from opening the door! I was so worried about you both. Relieved you got out alright. I understand people are going to these places to treasure hunt, but to toss things around and make a mess is disrespectful. I know the people who lived there are gone but still to trash the place is just horrible. The stone figures in the sun room were great and the children’s book from the thirties as well. If people want to nit pick about your guesswork on age of items, to heck with them, you’re channel isn’t Antiques Roadshow. You both do a wonderful job, and I enjoy watching all of your videos.

The fire they saw at the beginning made me wonder if the men were burning the casing off bits of wire, as they tend to sell the metal afterwards. So glad they didn't get caught.
Possibly, but I just wonder if it was a distraction and a reason to stand at the bottom of the drive… It sounded like two people in the house, so I wonder if the other two were still at the bottom of the drive watching out

You've had some majorly close calls recently! I'd have loved to see a picture or two of what the house looked like prior to it being ransacked. I'm glad you guys came out of this unscathed and with an exciting story tell!

How scary!!! I too just about dirtied my pants when that hand tried to open the door! Well the distinctive crooks were smart enough to wear gloves! What is wrong with people? So glad you both are safe. That was a bit hectic. The fact that those guys wore gloves says they were up to no good, that is for sure. You know how to cause a heart attack that is also for sure. Good grief! Andy, I think you should perhaps start carrying a small torch for just such times where you guys can’t use the big torch.

I do not understand the mentality of ppl who just ransack places like this, I doulbt they would like that to happen to someone they know, it really perplexed me, on the plus side you guys do a sterling job,the team work between you both is an example for others to follow, knowing your work partner inside out like you both do really is admirable and a privilege to watch👌👍🙂.

How spiteful of people chucking it all about, not satisfied with stealing stuff. (Ive still got the little box of wooden bricks in the same style box, mine is the 60s version label, and it was more fun fitting them all back in!). A great episode as usual, well done for hiding so smartly, could you have strolled out saying "hi lads dont mind us we are urban exploring" , not mentioning the mess and just kept going?, who knows, probably not. Too risky, that one guy at least was wearing gloves to not leave fingerprints, so more than likely would have kicked off.

I always hope nothing ever happens to you all. However, I don't think the chances of harm are high for you both because you all have seemed to have experienced enough to know how to handle yourselves in these unpredictable situations. Just keep your awareness on a high though! Another example as to why it's better to explore with another person, much better than being alone.
