Glad I saw this! I'm briefly visiting London very soon and this (I just bought the book for Kindle) will make my taproom decisions much easier. Cheers!
Ive visited all of those apart from BBNo. Being in north London I generally don't go south of the river but I might make an exception soon! Just to give a shout out to one of the little guys - I visited the Hammerton Brewery tap (not the pub) recently and it was decent. Central-ish location and good vibes.
Good choices. Particularly given they're all so close to other taprooms - like Anspach & Hobday near BBNo and Crate near Howling Hops. The Bermondsey Bottle Shop near A&H is my favourite place at the moment, they're importing some mad beers.
Just purchased your book on Amazon. Will be heading to London for a week in December. Planing to bring some Jester King and Pint House beers to share with the local breweries. Cheers!!
Wow! Shows how long ago I visited Beavertown, things have changed. Not been to BBNo since they opened the new tap room but that is top of my list next time I'm in London.
I think BBNo's beer has improved massively since they opened the new taproom, too. Well worth checking out - plus the guy who cooks pork steaks out the front is great too.
Great video and the book is amazing, you guys seriously nailed it. I'm really glad you included so much history and background on the pubs and breweries and didn't make it a bog standard guide book. I only visited Howling Hops for the first time a couple of months back but that place is seriously impressive!
hey man - so relieved by the feedback on the book! We're really proud of it, and hopefully despite all the changes happening it will stand the test of time!
I'm fairly new to craft beer, but have become obsessed pretty rapidly. It's crazy that Brewed By Numbers and Beavertown were considered as great 6 years ago. I've had quite a few beers from both and neither really knocked my socks off. Particularly Beavertown (I think their beer is shite). My favorite breweries are Azvex, Beak, DEYA, Verdant, Gravity Well and Cloudwater. I'm kinda glad I got on this thing late because I think the standard of IPA's especially New England style blow the stuff from 6 years ago out of the water. I'm always up for learning, So if I'm talking bollocks I'm more than happy to be told with an explanation.
Beer changes fast! Beavertown were bought out by Heineken, moved to a huge new facility and the beer has been poor ever since. BBNO still make decent beer but went into administration last year so not sure where things stand now quality wise.
Random question but what's the song? Its now stuck in my head and I cant always watch this video to listen to it, however good it is for your adsence! ;) Look forward to getting the book as well
if you google "youtube audio library" and look up Otis McDonald, we pretty much exclusively use his stuff. It's all royalty free and banging mash ups of different styles.
Bought the book love it but one critism is you didnt put the addresses on the locations and would of helped with proper maps not cartoons ,spent alot of time cross referencing on google maps! Cheers lads!
How about not being so Metro-centric guys?? I know Larndon is where you are based but there are many, many more breweries and tap rooms around the country that equal what you have shown in this vid..... How about visiting Leeds, Manchester or Sheffield to name but a few..... Keep up the good work though... cheers
Well to be fair this one was in support of a book about London! Otherwise we haven't done a vid on a London brewery since September... Next week's vid is from Cornwall if that helps, and then Ireland the week after that.
Well a swift response makes for a happy viewer.... Spread the love fellas, come up North where its bleak and dark..... we have loads of delights to sample North of the Watford Gap - and I do mean beer of course.... Cheers
Awesome, just bought the book to prepare my upcoming London trip, thanks!

Amazing, hope you like the book and have an awesome time in London!
Thank you, and the book is awesome so far!
Great video guys. Will do all you suggested after this awful lockdown.

We love that place too, it's in the book but not the vid.

yeah bottleshop do a great job of getting in the West Coasters. The Beer Merchants Tap is about to open right by Howling Hops too. An exciting area!
I will be there! Along with a few of my beer loving friends. I'm a backer! SUPERHYPE.
SUPERHYPE.
Brad's hair is looking exceptionally luxuriant in this episode

A lovely gesture that means you will be a big hit!
I plan on visiting every brewery on this video. Let me know if you're headed to Austin Texas. I will be your beer tour guide!!
Congrats on the new book guys, it's been way too long since I visited the big smoke for some beer, GBBF is definitely on the cards this year.

Yeah it's huge now! New BBNO space is great, but you can get in amongst the tanks still too.
I think BBNo's beer has improved massively since they opened the new taproom, too. Well worth checking out - plus the guy who cooks pork steaks out the front is great too.
yeah he's a great guy, lovely food too. The coffee porters coming out of BBNO are the best I have ever tasted.
I always buy their coffee porters when I see them. great stuff

Thanks Gentlemen, I'm heading to London for the first time this weekend from the US. Any updates or new taprooms I should go too? Thanks in Advance!
Hit up the Bermondsey Beer Mile and Blackhorse Beer Mile and you'll not go far wrong!
Content suggestion! Go round visiting places that have survived. Or the ones that ain't!!
Haha depressing but possibly helpful for people!
Greetings from Brazil!
cheers!
well hey Brazil!

That makes sense as both of those things probably happened before I started my craft beer journey. Thanks for the reply!@TheCraftBeerChannel
Mope bad stability all way along. I hope your book is better! and have a look at the automatic stubtitles, please!
Where is the Be Cool Liz hat from? New subscriber from Australia..visiting in May 2018, Hubby is excited for the Breweries! 👍🏻
it was a bespoke made hat! A 30 Rock quote... that's how geeky Jonny is and how wonderful his girlfriend is.

Hey - thanks really glad you liked the book! We kinda assumed everyone would use Google maps, our bad!
How bad ist the stabilization in the beginning!
you could have given a lot more info on how to get to the bars and also the names and locality of them. It all tp sparse and uninformative
You all have google which does a significantly better job than us describing it. Especially when drunk.

Tell ya what, we do need to do Leeds proper. The only time we went we got too drunk to film...so we'll fix that for sure!
