@@christycarbonell2996The level and type of toxicity depends on the type of foam. Just having a window open does not, in and of itself, push the fumes safely away. Also, fumes can linger. Use your best judgment.
@June Ritchie I was thinking the exact same thing as I watched this. Definitely should be done outdoors with a mask. Polyurethane foam can produce carbon monoxide.
How are they attached to the walls? I have tried those little sticky tabs ,but they come away from the foam. They are on the wall OK, but do not stick to the pool noodle vine. Any ideas?
@@stephanietaylor8109 Yeah, the only things I can find here in Sweden are only 1 meter long and they're grey, used to insulate pipes. For some reason, it's really hard to find pool noodles here. I think I'm going to use these pipe insulating things, and melt some black garbage bags over them or something. :) Anyway, thanks for the reply! :)
I'm not able to use tacks to adhere to walls and such. I'm wondering how other removable hooks, tape, and/or velcro items would work...? Ok all, give me your ideas! Mahalo!
Great idea.
Awesome idea. I'm creating a spooky forest at the haunted house I'm working at this year and this is perfect! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you!
Looks great!! I don’t have black noodles but can cut an heat then spray black. Houston here
Sure can. I've done the same for some vines when I couldn't find more black ones. Please share what you create. Hershey, PA
This adventure as absolutely Fascinating! I Love It! Unbelievably Creative! Thanks for Sharing!
Thank you so much. We will have more videos to come soon.
Brilliant
Thank you!!
Exactly the effect & look we are trying to create for the outside of our house. How many noodles did you purchase and where from?
I am not sure how many but i got them at the dollar tree. I got 3 vines out of each pool noodle.
Thanks for sharing a cool, er hot, technique with a great result. 😉
I highly recommend doing it outdoors or wearing a good respirator, though.
Hi . Would keeping window open be enough ? Are the fumes of the meting foam toxic is that why you recommend this?

Love this!!! What thumb tacks do you use? All mine leave a noticeable hole in the wall
From dollar tree. The hole is super small. You could use command strips too. Have had no issues getting them off.
Make more videos please!!!!
We’re working on it!
Amazing tutorial! Thanks so much....bought some noodles. Whatcha making this year?
I made trees for inside the house for our cabin in the woods theme. Will be putting together more videos soon.
comment faites vous pour faire ternir vos branches au mur ? quel produit utilisez vous ? merci

We used clear thumbtacks
What wattage is your heat gun? I’ve never used one so need to buy one and want to make sure I get the correct strength
The one 1 have has a low and high heat setting. Warrior on the side.
It's 1500W. Warrior dual temperature heat gun.
Awesome thanks for the info and a gazillion thanks for posting this tutorial. !
All of the spray paint flaked off and was a mess. Unless I am using the wrong type of spray paint, I wouldn't recommend doing that.
Bought ours already black
Do you paint them at all? I'm wanting mine to be black, but I know spray paint will dissolve the foam...
I was lucky enough to find a lot of black pool noodles...i was shocked when i found them.

That should work! Please share your creations!
@@stephanietaylor8109 Will do! Thanks for this video! And keep 'em coming as you go! I'd love to see what you do! :)

Mahalo!
Do you think a hair dryer will work instead of a heat gun?
I honestly haven't tried it. Let me know how it goes.
I don't think it would be hot enough. You can get them really inexpensively though
Beef netting is much quicker to cover walls or pretty much large areas
Yes, but you can’t turn beef netting into vines and vines are what we wanted.
Did that in my kitchen. But would not be able achieve what i was doing in the hallway. The vines look amazing!!!
