Yes very much so, but this was the quickest way, the only thing faster than punching cacos is using a BFG, but no more cells, SSG is slow single target, and rockets make em fly everywhere and prone to self inflicted dmg so it's not worth it.
You know already now but yea it's TAS. RedRecluse, or "RR" is arguably one of the best Doom TAS'ers of all time. You can learn a lot from this channel. If you either want to see tricks how to beat a difficult wad quickly, that you can't seem to finish... Or if you just want to sit back, relax and watch some entertaining runs... Or have some play in the backgrounds then you'd love to check out some more. If you wanna see some shenanigans watch his Tarachillax runs 😊 your mouth will open from shock lol.

Is there a way to beat this map in UV-Max without going full Mike Tyson mode at the Cacodemons in the end?

This map took me and a friend like 6 hours to beat on zdaemon with item respawning on.
