Our name, “Holy Ground”, comes from a passage in the Bible beginning in Exodus 3 when God appears to Moses through a burning bush. Here, God tells Moses, “Take your sandals off your feet, for the place where you stand is holy ground.” God continues to empathize with Moses and His people, and then tells Moses he will be the one to rescue God’s people from Egypt.
We desire to create a space where you are invited to the presence of God, not just through the church or some divine intervention, but through fun, sneakers, and streetwear. Holy Ground is also a play on the word “holy grail”, but instead of an object being highlighted, it’s more about God’s presence being emphasized.
Wherever you are coming from, we pray this would be a place of community, joy, and sanctuary!

My favorite part was seeing the dedication of blessing over the old spot into the new spot through worship and prayer! Also another favorite moment was finally getting a chance to be at the store for the 3 year anniversary after following you for 4 years despite the distance of being in another state! So proud of you Andrew and so is God!
I met Andrew about a week after he had just opened the first shop and I instantly got the feeling of how much of a good dude he is. He always took care of me let me hang out at the shop when I had nothing to do and even looked out for my lady when she wanted some shoes. It’s dope to see good things happen to good people. Holy Ground is really one of a kind resale shop and it beats any store around, not only on the prices but on the humility from the owners. Good luck on this new chapter and future endeavors.
