Kris Walkowicz Robert Palmer was never married to a woman called Sally Putnam, nor did he have three children with her. I don’t know how this incorrect information became established online. He was married on his 21st birthday to Susan Thatcher and they had two children, James and Jane. If you watch his acceptance speech for one of his two Grammies, available on UA-cam, he tells Jim and Jane “Nite, nite..” Adorable.
