The Soare XR is in the Vanford family of reels, they have some color variations among them, as well as some other minor things, but all are great reels. I have the Vanford 2000, which also makes a great Ultra light reel. I want to get the Shimano Aldebaran bfs reel from Digitaka, but they didn't have them in stock, so I went with the Gekkabijin to start and hopefully get the Aldebaran once they are back in stop. Oddly, I noticed that it's their Lefthanded models that sell out the quickest.
No. Its the same body design/schematic. Just that soare xr has 1 extra BB (spool bearing) than vanford 500. Just so u know, Soare xr 500 came with shallow spool & PG gear ratio.
New to your channel and im glad i did stumbled to your channel .Couse i love shumano reels and that 500 spinning would be perfect for finesse fishing..i did go to the post you posted ,but unfortunately i dont understand the prices on there .can you roughly tell me the price of that 500 reel plear sir ..Again great vedio, definitely got a new subscriber hear ..
I've got a open face fishing reel that's smaller then that. Probably lighter it weighs only 4.62oz. Aluminum body. Now I will say it's probably not as pretty as the one you got. BUT I PREFER FUNCTIONABILITY. Over the look. For me it's just got to work. Do what it's supposed to do.
@@RXAngler I wish, I need to stop buying reels until I get through a few rod builds. Waiting to see if anything comes out by spring that would be worth getting over the Zillion HD.
People use 500 sized reels for ice-fishing.. There is almost no reason to even use 1000 sized reel, as 2000 size weights the same and has bigger spool and bigger spool gives casting advantage what is important with ultralight and light lures..

FYI the Stella doesn’t come with a mgl rotor. Great Ultralight reel. I have varivas ester line on mine.
