You spend 90% of your review talking about shahid while Kriti was a mere BTW footnote. Need to call out this discrimination on how female performances are reviewed. I thought she was fabulous and carried the tricky film. The comic scenes were tough but she balanced them well. Also kudos to her for matching Shahid in the dance numbers while still having to pull off a slightly robotic performance (no mention of her in the songs!) she also looks fabulous
Don’t you think that could be because the movie itself revolves around shahid Kapoor primarily? And Indian films don’t have many female centric movies and scripts

Also, Shahid is such a breath of fresh air as an actually cute romatic hero at fhis stage of his career!!!
And yet she's always the best part of all of them... she's had a bad year, there's no denying that, but she's still one of the most promising young actresses out there
It is because of the career choices she made last year. Remake like Shehzaada, Worstly executed Adipurush and Ganpath. I hope she will have good start with this movie
Jammy I spotted you in the title track song, there's a background dancer at the 1:33 time stamp, and I actually thought that’s you for a second, in the green shirt and curly hair. 😅😅
This movie had the potential to be the 1st SLASHER THRILLER of Bollywood if producers had courage and vision to go A rated, My theory is that, you keep the movie as it is until the interval (sure you can cut the unnecessary CGI scenes and pull all the romantic scenes before the interval). You interval at the point when her memory gets corrupted. After the interval you have a big mension , with lots of family members of the hero and a LOOSE CANNON AI Robot, a Tried and Tested recipe for a SLASHER movie. Imagine the shock value it would have created. Kriti's character does have the GLIMPSE of such capabilities after she is confronted by the little girl. The movie ends with Shahid's character being stabbed by Kriti Mercilessly only in the last moments for her to feel the PAIN of the ACT and her convoluted memories coming back to her. Only to realise what she has done and still be conflicted about it. The best thing should have been the trailer ONLY showing the 1st half of the movie of all Happy romantic moments and not mentioning anything from the 2nd half. People would have definitely puked in the theatres after the shocking revelation. What are your thoughts about it?

Ranveer Singh’s comedic timing is good, watch Simmba and Sooryavanshi. His comedic timing in the first half of Simmba was good and he lit up the theater with his special appearance in Sooryavanshi.
@@rahultiwari-dx8qoNah comedy isn’t for Ranbir. Roles like Rockstar and Animal suit him more.
@@rahultiwari-dx8qoRanbir isn't really a great fit for comedy.
Shahid is beyond phenomenal. No one could have done this better than Mr Shahid.
Well made movie, with a write message and humor.
A nice bollywood blend to a perfect made movie.
Amazing dance and songs.
A definite watch!!!
Shahid Kapoor has a Trend of giving a superhit movie and then following it up with below average or just super flop projects 😅 I am waiting for his next film because I'm sure that would be a superhit movie
Arsenal truly!!
@@TriedRefusedProductionsmore like Chelsea cuz Arsenal hasn't won league in two decades
I really enjoyed the movie much more than rrkpk and tjmm…
It was after a long time I left the theatre feeling quite good and light… Really enjoyed the film overall
Its a blockbuster movie. Shahid truly on his way to become the next superstar after this movie

Frankly speaking Ayushman Khurana few ventures like Dream Girl 1 & 2, Shubh Mangal Zyada Savdhaan are underwhelming with unique concepts... it doesn't means he is hitting homerun with writing...
the home run is in reference to how successful those films were. It got tiring by the time Dream Girl 2 and Anek came out
Abe vo writer kab bana? vo to hamesa se average outsider tha
You do realise what the problem is right? In real life the heart cannot take over the micro processor..it's just too smart..the technical will keep changing personality and appearance to whatever appeals to you in the moment..the technical will never love you, it will just keep manipulating you..and the sad part is..many humans are depressed enough today to happily take that option 😢
Title track has good vibe. Choreography is very likable. Don't know why you didn't like. One can watch the song again and again. It's catchy with superb choreography. By the way I agree with you, Movie is average.
Yes, totally agreed. I love it too.
Bruuuhhh…Kriti’s luck after winning national award hasn’t been great so far 😔
Bahu Humari Rajnikant came 8 years ago with better comedy
The only good AI with a human element movie I saw was "Her" directed by Spike Jonze
Kriti Sanon is having a tough time these days. Adipurush, Ganapath... she would like to forget this part of her career
She really did pull off some of the whackiest scenes in the film. It's screenplay is just all over the place. Especially the second half
If the story acted as a metaphor for how daughter in laws are assumed to be a blank canvas to be programmed by in laws as if they have no agency it would have been critically acclaimed. Audience outside of multiplex would get it.
Also what expectations we have from relationships and partners to fit into our ideal as opposed to a new collective ideal.
Better than AI commentary
Aah yes the typical feminist who sees the whole world as her oppressor. Or how about a male robot to show how men are only viewed as ATMs?
He is potential hardworking actor of Bollywood I don’t why people don’t appreciate him so much and his movies I really feel bad for him he is also have the power to change the flim industry we need more movies from Shahid Kapoor ❤️❤️
My friends and I loved it. Great balance between family comedy of error and romantic comedy and dark side of AI! Good entertainment! Must watch in theaters!
The problem is commercial Bollywood movies are the same template thats being over and over again...

Am I the only one who loved the scenes portraying Aunt and Nephew's relationship so beautifully well❤
Actually someone should make a movie like Ford vs Ferrari with shahid and hrithik combo n it will b a treat to watch.both r heavily talented can handle drama emotions etc
I hope we get to see you groove to one of the film's tracks. It's been a while.
I wonder how you were less critical and judgmental about Animal then this one... smitten with the performances..may be that's why extrem topics and performance are made coz it gives less area to think and more room for headless fondness.
Its a great movie. I watched it twice in theater. After long time i liked Shahid. And lovvvveeed Kriti
Idk but I was reminded of the movie Robot starring Rajnikanth
I think this one was super fun actually. Pretty great among the shitty movies we have bren getting these days. Shahid did a very good job and looks too good for his age. Kriti also did a good job. Overall a good entertainer.
remmberd "Karishma ka Karishma" from this concept of AI humanoid in home
Shehezada was such a bad movie that it jinxed Kriti Sanon's career for the rest of the year and beyond😂😂😂
Her bad luck arrive since bachchan pandey...cause no film of her has done well since that movie...and believe me bachchan pandey is even worse then shahzada!!!
But isn't being just in the middle satisfying enough as it's a commercial film?
gotta be convincing in either or no? Frustrating because it was neither a hilarious romcom nor a compelling sci fi film
I agree with you. But if it were simply a romcom then people could have easily rejected it. The sci-fi backdrop was needed to make the film pleasable I think.@@TriedRefusedProductions
Well to be Frank I dont want expect much from the romcom genre but this was a new thing. I wish that people go to theatres for this so that we can get suxh experimental films in the future. This was a good movie. Not a cringy one at all.
Our hero throws one punch and 10 people fly in the air, that level of sci fi is next level
jammy please ewiev bhakshak. i feel bhumi has really done her best work here and so did sanjay mishra..
What about aditya srivastava ❤???
i went to a holi event last week that played the title track and the teenagers were vibing to it. i thought the album was a smash, and i think kids recreating the hook step, especially at a party so soon after the release, proves it
'Her' and 'Ex Machina'. That's it for me.

Maddock Films is like MNREGA for Kriti Sanon.
I thoroughly enjoyed the movie from the word go, fun, light and quirky. What else would I need after a year of violent movies. Despite of some minuses, This was a breeze.
6:01 is it SSR or am I getting it wrong? Looks quite familiar
Yeah, ssr from raabta, a film which was claimed to be remKe of "magadheera (2009)", starring ram charan and kajal agarwal, raabta starring ssr and kriti sanon.

Liked your review, but I enjoyed the light hearted comedy, after a year filled with nationalistic themed movies and over the top acting (except Animal). Breezy watch in short. Btw they should have just named the movie Sifra instead of whatever it is now. I seriously cant memorize it
Exactly, I had the same feeling.

Imagine Getting Married To AI Robot And Getting Electricuted On Suhaagraat😂😂
felt like there were tinges of Rajnikanth's robo and RaOne a little bit too
I think the steford wives (newer one ) was the weirdest plot twist movie based on robots I had seen . But loved the humour of if .
The concept of this movie is good but execution is worst it can be...even kriti performance doesn't up to the mark
..the comedy is very dull...and in the middle of the movie...you feel that the movie is about 5 hours long🥱🥱😑

Over analysis. It was a light hearted comedy film and it was good.
I don't understand who are you to judge if the movie is watchable in theatres or not. Can't you leave that to an individual?
As far fetched as the theme was, I still enjoyed it soooo much, that I actually can't believe it!!!!! Shahid and Kriti are so magical together!!!!!!!!! And my God, Kriti is one of the finest female actor in Bollywood right now!!!! For sure!!! DEFINITELY better than Deepika!!!!! Also, Shahid is such a breath of fresh air as an actually cute romatic hero at fhis stage of his career!!!

Kriti Sanon touches a film and it flops
Mandrake
And yet she's always the best part of all of them... she's had a bad year, there's no denying that, but she's still one of the most promising young actresses out there
It is because of the career choices she made last year. Remake like Shehzaada, Worstly executed Adipurush and Ganpath. I hope she will have good start with this movie

Ultimate comedy. I can forgive for climax due to outstanding comedy

Watch the anime series Pluto, it's one of the best pieces of robot and human society of all time, don't underestimate it just because it's animated
🔥👌🏽
Pluto was the best show of 2023. Naoki Urasawa is a genius.
This movie had the potential to be the 1st SLASHER THRILLER of Bollywood if producers had courage and vision to go A rated,
My theory is that, you keep the movie as it is until the interval (sure you can cut the unnecessary CGI scenes and pull all the romantic scenes before the interval).
This reminds me of a Manga/J-drama from the mid 2000s called "Zettai Kareshi", meaning "Absolute Boyfriend", in which the guy is the robot 😄
This is my Fav movie of all time. I watch 5 times already. This will be my Kuch Kuch hota hai. I dont care about the plot holes. Love this movie. This movie can Compete with hollywood movies
I think it was a good concept which lost its way in execution
Bro ur viewpoint is slightly getting Hollywood type where there’s always one specific fixed genre…. I just saw this movie as a romcom with a robot character, why would u even consider it as a proper sci fi movie
No no. You’re not getting it. I don’t want it to be a sci fi movie. I just wanted the film to do one genre or theme convincingly. It just seemed like a mish mash than anything concrete. I liked the actors but the form was missing!
