Some people might be annoyed by you talking about Christ during a LOTR reaction, but they forget Lord of the Rings was written by a devout Christian and has innumerable amounts of symbolism in it.

i know JRRT is a Catholic. but it mean so much more. as someone who doesn't believe in god. the good in in this world is we as humans fight thru darkness. youre obvi super religious i respect that. but did sam say that in the book?

Cool fact: the line "By rights we shouldn't even be here" is actually a fourth wall break...in the novel Faramir never takes them to Osgiliath...but this was added in the movie for added affect..so Sean was making a joke very tongue in cheek..lol
