Fill up jakes truck with gas just in case in the worse case you guys need to get out also put your important documents in a bag and put them inside a plastic bag that is water proof and most importantly buy a lot of water

💙💙💙Yeah, we get hurricanes here in NC. I'm originally from West LA so it was new to me when hurricane Florence hit we had power no water for 3 days. My daughter had water no power she lived down the street so we would all shower there and relax here. HURRICANES SUCK!!! Thanks for sharing I hope you all stay safe.💙💙💙

I’m from NY and lowkey…..hurricanes scare me because even though we don’t get them often like how Florida gets them, Hurricane Sandy really pulled up on us. It’s always best to be over prepared for a storm, than to be underprepared because even a tropical storm or a tropical depression, can switch up really quick and become a full blown hurricane. Sandy was a tropical storm at first, but then Mother Nature decided to be petty and turn her into a category 2 (for being a cat 2 storm, the damage was horrifying) hurricane, but because she mixed with a nor’easter….that gave her more power that nobody saw coming. It’s better to be safe than sorry, because you just never know. Also, keep in mind that they said the storm was downgraded to a tropical depression so not as intense as a hurricane.

How the roles have changed. My state usually has rain and gets the hurricane because I live in the south, and y’all usually have burn bans. But rn we are in a severe burn ban, and y’all are abt to get a hurricane. Praying for y’all’s safety
