@Matt Dingo I would agree... 27 DEAD!⛧🤘
Airdash = Finnish Anthrax
Helluva Noise = Finnish 'Caught in a Mosh'
Ok.
I'm 55 and still love thrash. Great list
I cannot thank ya enough for including my own band in this compilation 💿 PostMortem1’st album and Armies Of The Dead although just an intro into the real song Waiting For The Funeral is most appreciated by myself and the late, great John McCarthy. He died in’09 due to his daily ritual of vodka and due to this unfortunate habits developed diabetes just as We’d been flying off to Alexander’s place in Seattle,WA our original guitarist to put the finishing touches on PostMortem’s 8th Lp and John passed away 3 weeks early. I was his best friend and like A.C’s Seth Putnam who’s 🪦 was actually intentional; We never strived to write for the kids, but whatever we felt like doing. Sadly this next act had already been picked up by Hollywood Records we’d come up with called Despots & Lusty Monks by mere days! Such Is Life, right? Sincerely yours truly xoxo 💋 DJP of Boston Massachusetts 02134 USA 🇺🇦 💥 💣 Amerikkkan (..yay 😞) Take Care new man
Coroners office is the best thrash album of 1986 period! Nothing will ever replace or top it. Ever...
@@tommy2tone616 Hey 👋 bro’ I just read your comment about Our very first proper album 💿 “Coroner’s Office”@‘86. I was told by John Connelly ( Nuclear Assault etc.) that it never left his turntable back when We had released it upon the public at large shortly thereafter lol. So I replaced the original guitarist John Alexander a.o. 1989-90’s “Festival Of Fun” Lp and have been with these guys until mid June of 1996 on 5 USA 🇨🇳 Tours and best friends with McCarthy 🎤 up til his passing on January 27, 2009 🪦 joining both Anal Cunt & Kilslug after that and then Seth’s purposeful O.D. despite what y’all hear from ANYBODY! Ironically enough being D.O.A. on my previous singer’s birthday as he too was in Mortem for a few 7” s but obviously moved onto a different style of GrindCore even tho he had grown to hate it in the end; knowing full-well that We had already started playing to a musical sound more akin to Captain Beefheart ; Blue Oyster Cult meeting Henry Rollins at a Bruin’s game 🏒! I know they are still together so if you’re interested in PostMortem’s future career? I will suggest listening to everything else from “Destined For Failure”@‘ 93 to the last album “Ahnedonia”@‘ 09 which I believe is the final date of this Lp’s supposed release; and now I’m positive they’re going on with the ex vocalist of Sigh, but don’t quote Me on that one ☝️. Take Care and thanks for writing to my comments on the compilation put out by whomever chose the shortest tune on this album instead of Waiting For The Funeral Or I Want To Die! Sincerely yours truly 💀, DJP ex PostMortem;A.C. + Kilslug (d.b.a: The Shitbuckets lmoo) Seriously. Boston Massachusetts Amerikkka of course 💥 💣
Okay. PostMortem’s first album 💿 sold #10k copies within a month of its release in 1986! Yeah, that’s a lot of vinyl considering that genre known as Thrash; Speed Or Doom Metal wasn’t even a thing just yet on the East coast’s radar with exception to Anthrax and Overkill whom We had played with extensive times; even before Metallica had a gig at this club called The Rathskeller for an audience of about 18. Kinda hard to believe it, but it did start out on the West coast of California’s Bay area after all, right? In the late’80’s We were doing a tour with Corrosion Of Conformity & Dr. Know for what would become the Festival Of Fun 🤡 Lp in’89 and one of the most beloved records in Our catalogue and soon to be 40 yr.existence and beyond with the singer of Sigh ( 🇯🇵) taking over for McCarthy yet NEVER really replacing the genius of that madman’s performance onstage Or off. I was told by Johnny boy himself to check out this band who he’d been talking with online so; isn’t it ironic for him to become a part of the Mortem family tree. I miss him every single day and I’m losing friends by the fistful ( Seth Putnam in’12 A.C. Larry Lifeless of Kilslug infamy just to name a few etc.) Seriously though. I personally feel that PostMortem stayed in the Black Flag 🏴 Sabbath realm as well: BOC + early Slayer as far as John Alexander 🎸 style and ❤️ of the late great Jeff Hanneman and Gary Holt of Exodus who had been around recording the Bonded By Blood Lp long before the Big 4 were even in the same arena in 1981, but it sat on a shelf in a warehouse which prevented the band from achieving their own fame as Metallica who’ve never done anything worth dropping a needle on since And Justice For All + it should’ve been a single release; as half of those songs are either totally too damn long Or Budgie covers! LMAOOO 💔Okay. That’s all folks! Thank ya for keeping it still relevant Cuz I knew just how important a band We had as soon as I heard that very first pressing back in’85 lol 😎 Sincerely, Yours Truly
I had Black Death on cassette when I was 14 yrs old! I'm 51 now and still jamming out to Metal mostly Extreme Metal! Slowly moving away from my cultures music. However I will always be into my Hawaiian music and Extreme Music to the day I die!
These were the thrash albums you flipped through in the record store. Band ads you flipped through when reading Kerrrang! Metal Mania, Metal Edge, Circus etc...
And when the record stores were bulldozed for Starbucks, and the magazines fell to the internet. Bands like MINOTAUR remain. Be with the TAUR!⛧🤘
@@MINOTAURunOfficial 🤘😈🤘
@@axxessmundi To The Death!!!⛧🤘
hell yeah 🍺🍺🤘🤘
@@MINOTAURunOfficial Oh fuck I remember you guys. They used to sometimes play your stuff on the local thrash/hardcore channel on the local community radio station at like 2AM. I thought your stuff fucken rocked but I could never find it in the record stores (The joys of being a teenager in australia in the 1980s). Fucking magnificent to see you guys still at it.
Dude your channel is a gold mine. I am listening thrash/death metal since i was 6 years old (now 29), but there are lot of those bands from your videos which I never heard and I really enjoy.
Keep up the good compialtions dude. Cheers !
@@primalmythic386 thankfully we have the internet these days.
all hail the Internet!! ;)
Yes, I'm learning so much about metal listening to these great playlists ^^
Hallow's Eve song is sick! It was in River's Edge movie soundtrack. Excellente
Love that movie! It has an awesome soundtrack!
Hallows Eve first 3 albums are killer each different but good stuff their last album never ending sleep is pretty good also
I owned all but 1... Slammer (1989) .. out of all these bands .....[ LPs - CDs or tapes]..that was the only way back then, these comps are what my car tapes would sound like , thanks & keep thrashing !
Infernal Majesty is one of the most underrated metal bands of all time!
Couldn't agree more Adam Novak. None Shall Defy is criminally underrated, it really is
None shall defy was almost as good as reign in blood imo
Jaymz Smith None Shall Defy might just be the greatest metal album that almost nobody has heard of lol
@@anovak0726 lol
I was just gonna comment something similar, very good band
Rigor Mortis.... one of my favorites!
One of meine faves also. RIGOR to the Death!!!⛧🤘
RIP Peter Hobbs, You are much missed in this Metal Thrashing Mad world...
PETER HOBBS R.I.P. (ROCKING IN PEACE!!!)🇦🇺
DEATHROW !!! i got Ragin steel & satan's gift on vinyl. these colections are treasure
Excelente compilado grandes bandas legendarias Brutal 🤘💀🇨🇴
For the last few weeks I've been listening through all these compilations on your channel. SO MUCH GOLD!!
I grew up listening to thrash and death metal as my main things, where I really properly got into music. The years 1989-1994 especially, trying to find every record I could, going through all the thanks lists to find more, getting every compilation I could to really get started in finding the sounds that kickstarted my life!
Even 30 years later, as a total music obsessive (everything from loud/quiet/fast/slow/riffs/no riffs) I am digging and digging for great stuff every day, and yet there are things on your playlists that I had never even heard of before! Just shows the infinite wealth of sounds from all over the world.
Thank you for bringing so many riffs to ears that needed to hear them! You collate some brilliant compilations.
The number of songs on my memory card only increases thanks to you, man thank you for your work, there are many songs that at the time I choose end up unnoticed and when I see are on your list and wonder, how I forgot this song.
Your channel rocks dude, I have been a rocker since 1980 (10 years old) and you have played those unheard of bands! Appreciate it well! Rocking and peace to all from Manila, Philippines
many thanks to you and the thousands of others who upload this stuff, much appreciated.Kind regards,Roy the boy.
Deathwish is one of my favorite thrash bands! I was lucky enough to almost accidentaly discover them in my early stages as a metal listener. Demon Preacher should be included in every thrasher's personal discography imo.
Thanks man, I discovered some new bands to listen to.
From a long time Subscriber, Horns up for the inclusion w/ this video & support of TAUR!!!! Top 5 contender
between FORCED ENTRY and APOCALYPSE!!! Definitely in good company! Danke! The Slaughter Continues... 🤘💀🤘
Thank you my good friend for this playlist
Early Sabbat were so very good. Is there ANY other metal band where the singer has a serious lisp? Love it!
Damn great job on this list!!! Infernal majesty, hallows eve post mortem and hallows eve all bring back great memories
Excelent ! Thank you so much

Exumer excellent

Grinder ♥️♥️♥️ you already won my heart
Black Suicide from Accuser taking about me killing Cobain already..."its Jeremiah and the other is a Rat..." lol that singer must talking about me and Ratzoe...some of my dog Shit art covered that, I'm a Hell Angel though...my wife's middle name might be Frances though going on a hunch with this comment.
Grinder slightly reminded me of Vendetta, could be in here as well, their 'Brain Damage' from '88 is an absolute Masterpiece!
Overkill
@@user-xg1te1rc4t
Oh yeah, you're right, early Overkill, good comparison.
DerEchteBold yep. Bass and vocals. Most underrated band in “pop” thrash. Saw them twice - great band.
@@user-xg1te1rc4t
Pop Thrash? Haha, that's a funny term.
Grinder remember to flotsam and jetsam.
Underrated compilation. great old thrash
🎶 🎶 🔥 🔥
Killer Comps !!!!!!
Sabbat were absolute MADLADS!
They're Head went to Knucks Savated Keith Stone Framed Mueral Adorned By The Clarence Sisters Parting Port A John's Funeral Hams... I'm A Lead Advisor On The Subject...Pigs Feet Never Did Like Anal Lube... Louie Louie Dive and Bleed.
Great list! Would you consider "AT WAR" (80's) underrated? I don't see them much anywhere.
AT WAR kills! One of my all time faves. AT WAR Lives!!!⛧🤘
Vast majority is from 87-90, where you had an inflation of Thrash Metal Bands. For new bands, it was pretty difficult to stand out. You still had to pay for music, so fans weren't experimenting a lot
*ANOS INESQUECÍVEIS PRÁ MIM. LONGA VIDA AO METAL* 🇧🇷

Dear @Schizophrenia, your work is just phenomenal. How come you have access to so much good and rare stuff? Just wondering bro. Best wishes for you metal brother!!

The sound of Thrash Metal
I agree 110%⛧🤘
Podrías agregar en otra lista a *Aspid* ? (La canción *Morirás Solo* )
Gothic Slam!!!! I forgot about those guys, they kicked major ass!
🤘🍺🤘😎👊cheers from holland
bro, mainstream bands are as good as underground bands. Without Metallica first album or Slayer there wouldn't be half of the underground thrash bands. Without Judas Priest there wouldn't be Heavy Metal at all.
and if you really want underground metal you can dig it yourself by searching on labels for exemple
Nice.
This station bangs!
Now I have a reason to live
Assasin lo mejore de la compilación
The chorus in the Necronomicon song sounds so much like a Ramones song, I'm surprised they didn't sing "Hey, Ho, Let's Go!" like in "Blitzkrieg Bop".
Forced Entry ..Good bass gitar !!!!
🤘🤘🤘!!!!!
Buena ahi estan Rigor Mortis
ALL HAIL THE BEST 2 METAL SUBGERES THRASH AND DEATH.GODS OF METAL
Helluva list. Banger after banger.
Great job Schizophrenia.
La vieja escuela lo mejor
Im listening Grinder band first time and im very like this band. But best metal band from this video is Necronomicon. And where is Germany metal band Vendetta?👍
Underrated, I guess the fuck!
I like them Calvin & Hobbb's angeles de la muerte!!! Down under rules!
Cool compilation but some of those songs are shortened..
Hallows Eve, porra!!!
Thrash for President
33:17 they're from Frankfurt, Exumer? I wonder where that is.
Exumer. Country of origin: Germany; Location: Frankfurt, Hesse; Status: Active; Formed in: 1985. Genre: Thrash Metal; Lyrical themes: Insanity, ...
Gotta be right next door to HELLYEAH!!!!!
45:35 this riff without a doubt heavily inspired Death's Pull the Plug and i'm all for it !
Megadeth - Devil’s Island
Trash metal for life
HELL YEAH
Thanks for an awesome playlist
CHEERS from somewhere in Hell
TARGET YEAHHHHHHH!
Underrated Thrash Till Death 🍻🧟♂️🤘☢😈
Que poder
I did not expect THAT riff at 47:59 (after the yeeeaahrorr). Really weird, especially in context of the whole era! Looks like I'm gonna have to do some more checking out of Hexenhaus.
Part 2... Still no Sacred Reich? Still good stuff though! 🤘
Long live thrash!!!
Yeah
