I've owned both apple and Samsung as well as Asus and LG. I feel like newer Apple phones are worth the price. Build quality is unmatched. I have friends who have an iPhone 6S that runs faster than my Galaxy S8+. Also, when Apple releases an update, you get it the same day. Samsung released OneUI in December and I didn't get it until April. Furthermore, I won't even receive OneUI 2 since my S8 is ALREADY unsupported. Time to switch to Apple.

One thing no one seems to test is the voice quality of calls (it is a phone) and a lot of new phones have terribe mic's or call quality outgoing. That would be a worthwhile test. Incoming is not an issue ususally because the speakers are good, but I get calls FROM new phones and a lot are terrible!
The whole reason though they pump out the phones at these pricepoints is that you give them all your data and subscribe to their services. Something Apple has only just realized and began. Just look at all their new subscription services and the "cheap" iPhone 11. The devices are becoming the platform which is used to sell other stuff. Thatswhy you wont see a flagship killer with androidone from these companies.

I LOVE the super VOOC charging, even more now that I have the car charger (had to get a company to receive it then forward it to me from China). I don't have to wait long at all before leaving the house with a fully charged phone. And with the car charger, I don't even have to charge my phone before I leave the house because it's fully charged by the time I get to most of my frequent destinations. I don't like everything about this Android skin, but it is a great phone, especially for the price. I got the white 12GB/256GB version from Spain for $432 during Black Friday sales, including shipping. It's fantastic.

One thing no one seems to test is the voice quality of calls (it is a phone) and a lot of new phones have terribe mic's or call quality outgoing. That would be a worthwhile test.
Incoming is not an issue ususally because the speakers are good, but I get calls FROM new phones and a lot are terrible!

Just look at all their new subscription services and the "cheap" iPhone 11. The devices are becoming the platform which is used to sell other stuff.
