Here’s a simple thing. Apple is selling the ecosystem to be honest. Just having iphone worth 1.4 lacs is not worth it unless you have other apple ecosystem in place - ipad, airpods, mac etc. Without ecosystem, its worth is probably around 70-80k. Samsung on the other hand offers a phone with so many features packed in, its worth the price of even more than 1 lac. Just buying apple iphone means you wont even be using half of the ecosystem features, which basically lowers the worth.
I am note 20 ultra user. Samsung parts repair cost shown in this video is wrong. It doesn't include GST plus repair charges. I was told, it would take 23-25k for changing display from official samsung care
If my budget is around 50k I go for the OP 12. S24 is a solid device, but I can't possibly pay that amount for an exynos powered device. It's just as cruel as Apple charging 80k for 60hz panel. That being said, if my budget is 70k or above, I'm going with the ultra series
Another reason could be that iPhone is no longer the status symbol it used to be due emis and samsung looks and feels premium giving it the status symbol tag.
these poles do not depict a clear picture as they are not actual buyers every one thinks of Samsung before buying a premium segment phone but mostly ends up buying iPhone because of the brand value that comes with it

Crucial elements Samsung over Apple, 1. Indians pick Samsung over apple is service, majority of locations are small towns and cities. 2. Samsung Ecosystem, from wearables to home appliances, samsung manufacture everything and integrates everything to operate from single device. Love Samsung smart homes. 3. Marketing, people from remote locations or villagesalso knew Samsung.
I've used both iPhone & Samsung! I've switched to Samsung completely as it gives me a lot of controls and troublefree user experience. iPhone had controls over me and I had to adjust to the device and compromise a lot! Samsung Wallet is a life saver!
I think you guys should've also added Google in that. Because inherently people will choose Apple or Android, and that would've really shown how much of an advantage Samsung really has in Flagship market as people are also willing to spend 60-70K on Google Pixels nowadays!
I recently bought S24 for 51k, and it's one of my best tech upgrades. I was looking for the iPhone 15 as well but when I checked both I realised which was the best option. Apple isn't offering anything in lower models and S24 Ultra is still more value for money than Pro and Pro Max.

If i have 50k budget or more then I'll definitely pick a phone from samsung, vivo, iqoo because these are the only good phone brands i trust and these are better than every phone brand. So yeah this is my opinion

exactly.only reason i havent completely switched to Samsung is its crappy Camera when compared to Iphone pro series..apart from that Smasing is way better..
My iphone 13 screen replacement costed 32k.. For a 60Hz tiny screen with a big chin, that amount seemed unjustifiable. From that incident onwards, I'm mindful about the repair cost of phones. Samsung is the cheapest when it comes to repair so I upgraded to s24+ since I got a good offer from samsung store. I had my eyes on OnePlus 12, but the curved screen and lack of IP rating were big turn offs. Besides, OnePlus repair costs are really high.
From a samsung fanboii, Samsung isn't promising 7 yrs of OS update, it's 7 generation. Rumours are that Google will be launching two OS every year(not sure of it yet). But if it happens then I think android UI will be worse.
samsung has pretty much slowly but consistantly topped off in every possible thing which makes a smartphone great you really dont have any arguement against it and as far as what we have found out about the snapdragon 8 elite the s25 ultra is pretty much just gonna blow iphones in the dust if its android vs iphones and although there might be many great choices in android as well which might be little better than samsung in a specific scenario when you see it from the overall point of perspective there isnt really anything challenging samsung here either so hats off to samsung👏🙌
Once a Samsung user, always a Samsung user. Their ecosystem is a class apart, especially with Windows. Not to mention their top-tier camera and robust build quality.
I mean, in the tech community.. specially in india, uou you will find lots of bais towards android in general, You should have tried to get the same opinion from the general public, that would be way better demographic. As you can see, people were mentioning repair costs, one ui etc, on which lots of videos are made recently, and yt pole, x, its usually thode die hard techies, Android user here as well, but just my two cents.
I love android(Samsung) , but i would purchase Apple products as the app (especially outlook, MS teams and other official apps) work super even in apple 14 . Which is not the case in snapdragon gen 3 products. Using these apps creates a laggy experience and is difficult to work continuously
I'm Using Samsung M30s 6GB version since Feb 2020 which I bought at ₹15000, and it almost 5 years, Phone is working fine and never hanged even for once. The only cons i found is that the battery is draining little bit faster, thats it, which is not a big problem.
I am heavily invested in the Samsung ecosystem. So it is Samsung for me. Good thing about it is that I don't need to spend lot of money to stay in the Samsung ecosystem.
I have a iphone 11 pro max,and the battery replacement cost 5k and it's not even an oem part, the price in the authorised apple service center is 11k. I know why ppl are starting to like android phones lately.
I am using the 15 pro since Nov23 . And I hate this so much but changing to another device is getting really hard due to the expense I did on this 15P. Really not worth the price .
Only if Samsung provides the smoothness and consistent software updates to the budget phones under 30k, it will lead the market by a huge margin. The low cost of repairing will sure help them a lot.
Samsung has become really different. I switched from iphone xr to nothing 2 to s24 Samsung software is really good and i didnt expect samsung to make such a flawless UI
Definitely Samsung. That doesn't mean iPhones are bad, they're solid. But I feel Samsung has upped their game that rivals iPhones in most segments. About the photo and video quality: There are a few iPhone users in my office, even they call me to take a photo or video of theirs or for other purposes (I use an S24 Ultra - an absolute gem). Some of my friends use a basic S23, and the photos from that phone look better compared to basic iPhones 13 to 15 (I'm not use about iPhone 16). P.S.: I think in the video department, iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max are a bit better than S24 Ultra, not by far, but still better. To be fair, the S24 Ultra came in January 2024 and the iPhone 16 series was released 8 months later. (Skipping all the other points I can put forth in the Samsung vs Apple debate)
Bhai..the question itself is wrong. The right question to ask was, which phone will someone choose if they want to buy phone ABOVE 1 LAKH. You will be surprised to know many people will choose Apple. The reason is, between 50k - 1L Apple phones are not VFM vs Samsung have many options like, A, S and FE series.

I don't use Samsung rn but I did shift from iphone 12 to Poco f5 last year. Main reasons were fast charging, better file management , no announcement call recording and 120hz.
While the poco is good, but I miss water resistance & slightly more dependable camera. If the s25 series gets it right with price, I'll try samsung again. My last samsung was the s6.
You don't necessarily have to wait for S25...you could just get the S24 ...and also, it's price would go down once S25 Series is released
@ s24 is exynos. If the ultra comes down to a fair price I’ll consider it.
Go with S23. It’s snapdragon. S25 would cost a bomb at launch
Try to get s23 ultra bro, it a super value for money now under 70K & u get 6 years of software update also.
Since you want better file management, good display etc. U can buy s23U but then it has curved display which many ppl don't want. Also s24 series got 7yrs of android updates. U should actually wait till the release of S25 series. The price of S25 will be higher than S24 thou but it will have one of the best chipsets in the market rn. And I think u should always go for plus version like S25 plus for bigger battery in the nxt sale
Agreed.
Also, people be using WhatsApp on iPhones over iMessage 😢

😮
If my budget is around 50k I go for the OP 12.
S24 is a solid device, but I can't possibly pay that amount for an exynos powered device. It's just as cruel as Apple charging 80k for 60hz panel.
That being said, if my budget is 70k or above, I'm going with the ultra series
But the Exynos 2400 hits different then previous.. though its not as powerful and efficient then snapdragon but still its lot improved

They should have done the survey with more general non tech savvy different demographics.

I think people have recently increased their budget, so 50k os now the new 20k. Make a poll for 75k or 1L then probably apple will win.
0:11 Don't know but Samsungs are getting display issues and dead motherboard as per community posts in Samsung members and social media.
And here I was thinking about switching to another brand.😅
I'm skeptical about how widespread those are. I've had my S20 for 5 years and had an S8 Plus for 2.75 years before that, and never had any of those issues.
I have been using samsung most of my life and never had any of that problems. And i have them all in my drawer. Like a5, j6, a10, s7 edge, s8+, s9+, s10e, note 10 , s20, note 20 ultra and as of now s24 ultra. So i know what im talking about.
My reasons
1- The convenient to use ONE UI
2- Repair cost and accessories cost

For 25k-50k budget, I will pick a Google Pixel. You get one from 20k (7a) to 55k (8 Pro with discounts). All of them have the best camera for the price.
For anything > 50k, maybe I will look at Samsung. But there is just the 1 option that is positively better than a Pixel. The S24 Ultra.
The wildcard entry is the Flip 6. You get it around the same price as iPhone 16 / Pixel 9 on the Samsung Corporate store, especially during sale. Excellent device, great performance. Battery also lasts if you use the external screen for most tasks.

Suppose i have locked someone's chat so that nobody is able to check the chat.but when someone goes into whatsapp chat lock settings, there is an option which says_"unblock and clear chat".
And the moment we click on that, the chats get deleted but it unlocks the chat from there and it starts appearing on the main whatsapp chat screen even if the contact no is not saved.

You forgot to mention the anti-reflective coating, it's such a game changer
Samsung has to offer a different UI for it's premium phones... Same One UI in it's budget segment and premium phones
Their are some major difference which make s series one ui premium compared to Samsung budget Phone
They already does that
Crucial elements Samsung over Apple,
Apple isn't offering anything in lower models and S24 Ultra is still more value for money than Pro and Pro Max.
i would definitely go for samsung if i have a budget of 70k but for 50k to 60k budget i think either vivo x200 or iqoo 13 is more value for money than samsung ofcourse i am not talking about thier ui because funtouch os is basically one of the worst ui out there but still i dont mind that much regarding ui
Do you need graphic designer for thumbnail editing
If i have 50k budget or more then I'll definitely pick a phone from samsung, vivo, iqoo because these are the only good phone brands i trust and these are better than every phone brand. So yeah this is my opinion

Most of the Samsung's Sales come from A series and FE series
Personaly i like iphone just because of the form factor and for the camera also iphone has the better video quality than samsung if we can to the all aspect off samsung may be win but u want to choose btw camera pick iphones and for form factor also 👍
I have noticed a trend opposite to it.
If apple’s OS skin and entire camera system physical or software replace whatever Samsung has I’ll switch forever no questions asked
exactly.only reason i havent completely switched to Samsung is its crappy Camera when compared to Iphone pro series..apart from that Smasing is way better..
1:29 how does 2700 x 5 = 16900? 😂
Always Samsung
Because of amazing features and software
I already made this choice, I just got an S23+ upgrading from an S9. Huge upgrade, definitely worth it. I had no idea phones could be this good.
I have been using Samsung for long and currently using S24 Ultra, waiting eagerly for the launch of S25 Ultra.
The anti reflective display of s24 ultra is just phenomenal and you even not mention it.
After using Apple for 3 years, I am switching too
Using my S8 2018. No issues still. Runs smooth.
From a samsung fanboii,
Samsung isn't promising 7 yrs of OS update, it's 7 generation.
Asus rog series or samsung series for 50k for sure, not at all apple😅
Once a Samsung user, always a Samsung user. Their ecosystem is a class apart, especially with Windows. Not to mention their top-tier camera and robust build quality.

I mean, in the tech community.. specially in india, uou you will find lots of bais towards android in general,
You should have tried to get the same opinion from the general public, that would be way better demographic.
As you can see, people were mentioning repair costs, one ui etc, on which lots of videos are made recently, and yt pole, x, its usually thode die hard techies,
Android user here as well, but just my two cents.
I switched from iphone xr to nothing 2 to s24
Samsung software is really good and i didnt expect samsung to make such a flawless UI
Above 1 lakh mein toh bhai fold hi worth hai. Asli Ameer ab iPhone chhod fold par shift ho chuka hain.
