I personally don't understand to random negativity I'm seeing in the community towards S2 so far. Hit reg is WAY better in my experience, new guns are fun, skins are cool (but way too overpriced so I'm never buying one that isnt in the battle pass), etc. I get the trading is kinda annoying but i'd be surprised if we didnt see an upcoming patch to deal with that in the coming weeks. Also cool to hear your take on Waterfront, very different from my opinion but I haven't had a huge sample size of games yet. Love your vids!
Hit reg isn’t actually better. You’ve been given the illusion that it’s been improved when in reality. It’s the complete opposite. Trading is a clear indicator that server side clients are being manipulated in order balance out gunfights by delaying damage from everyone connected to the client. The only people happy about this change are casual players who couldn’t win the majority of their gunfights to begin with. There are already hundreds of clips going around where people are dying to one bullet because the server couldn’t process the entire engagement. If you have any dignity. You would agree that this needs to be fixed asap.

Had a round last night where the first part of my magazine made hit maker sounds but the enemies health didn’t budge… I will come back season 3 and if it’s not fixed by then I will uninstall. Game got delayed a year and there still having hit reg problems
spawn in trade kill that sums up my 4hrs on the game. the new map is a rats nest with routes all over the place and im just getting shot from all directions , so im not a fan , as i hate maps like that. the new music sounds like something a tv company would play when they have tech issues with the msg "we are sorry but we have technical issues we are trying our hardest to fix". the guns just feel off even with the constant trade kills taken out. the new mastery camo looks crap , stand on your head and shut one eye and squint the other and you may just see some animation. i havnt tried my headset as yet but just on my tv speakers the audio didnt seem any better. prox mine deployment has now got a delay where you just stand there holding it for a second or so like a retard and iv heard that you have to dbl tap the button to deploy it quickly. when sniping on liberty there is now a strange misting (on ps5) when you're in ads and this can be seen around the outside of the sight when in ads but it clears when you leave ads.
It would be interesting if you could try the red dot/holo sight to see if the bug is happening on Xbox as it is on PS5, apparently its happening on PC too. You find the sights work ok in the 1st game then for some reason the red goes away when scoped.
I’m seeing a lot of people quit out/lag out of matches. No joke, every match of Bomb I’ve played of 5 or 6 matches this has happened so I can’t even give an accurate critique of the game mode itself. Waterfront is okay but it takes time to adjust to all the many sight lines.
The devs keep failing at a basic building block of FPS: in a hitscan game, gunfights only have one winner, and it's the guy who hits their shots. Players left because they couldn't do the "it's the guy who hits their shots" part and it's very clear they shifted the game to failing at the ”gunfights only have one winner" part out of sheer desperation.
I can see 2 kind of players in the comments! The ones with ping advantage that close to always drew the long straw in a close fight, and now hate all the kill trading because they die a lot more And the ones like me, that even with high speed fiber has to play on 40-50 ping, that several times every single game died even though we put a ton of hitmarkers in the enemy, or hit them with the sniper or whatever. That are now happy that even though we still die, we still get the kill that we so rightly earned from our point of view. I hope they get to a point where we don't killtrade so much, but for the state of the netcode right now, it is a million times better to at least get my kill, even if I die too
Because most of them are bad. Sometimes I also forget to use them. They are also made more for obj game modes, which I don't play. Only echelon ultimate is good imo, but I hardly use echelon anymore.

Using passive abilities such as gs-commando shock wire or the new highwaymen sentry turret can block a choke point and notify me where the enemy is. Active abilities like dedsec spiderbot or cleaners firebomb obviously get kills. Ultras are always useful. Eventually when the devs add in obj score towards weapon leveling, abilities are gonna be even more useful and necessary. Never hurts to shrink your hud so you see your ability indicator.
Its funny that i watched Jbowens video and its a total glaze fest on there. I've watched two other one live stream and the other another video and they've had more trouble with the game than enjoying it.
Sure beats not getting the kill at all. No doubt it will improve as the netcode is tinkered further we already knew the start of season 2 wasn't going to be a massive change, but it sure is a good one!
I kinda wanna get the pass but idunno if I can commit to the whole thing. I wish there was a way to just pick the things you want out of it and grind for them. 70% of the pass is meh', imo.
Grind it all! I was able to buy the initial BP with the free xcoins from logging in, not usually one to care for griding stuff but I am stoked to get some camos finally lol got plenty of xp boosters to use at least
@Minx717 it's hit or miss for me. Some games I'm getting stomped nomatter how hard I try, some games I'm rocking 40+ kills and have triple the obj score as my team. Either way, I kinda agree the balancing could be better. If nothing else to help combat people playing I'm squads. I'll get matches where my team is all level 50 (I'm 112) give or take while the enemies are all 100 and up.

Played Bomb on the new map and I disagree with the statement that its a map for slower players, which i am usually. It has so many lines of sight that being more stationary means having to constantly look in every direction whereas playing it faster means less hassle as you "clear" lines of sight better. I played it using the MK20 and using the Vector and it plays alot better with a fast gun. Also i saw that snipers didnt have much fun on it, especially playing bomb as the high risk of the sniper is even more exacerbated by the 1 life game mode.
Hahaha! I had similar issues. Modem near death causing all sorts of laggy drama. Replaced modem and upgraded to fiber optic. Now my ping is like 6. Lol. This game still has it's problems but it's getting there.
Is it just me or does the hit detection/logic feel even worse now. Like they did something and now every single gun fight feels like it's ending in a trade which I knew was possible in season one but it felt like I was getting maybe one or two every three games whereas now it feels like I'm getting 10+ every single game. Again maybe it's just me but there's a lot of what feels like delayed damage we're I will shoot first kill someone or get them almost one shot with almost having full health and I just instantly die in what feels like one bullet. It's almost like they changed it to register all the damage but it doesn't instantly show which results in both people just dying and someone dying in what feels like multiple seconds after a gun fight ends or an SMG cross mapping you with one bullet. Know something I've noticed from the beginning is something feels off with the Hitboxs based off what character you're using. Like most the time I feel like my gun doesn't feel sticky or all my bullets aren't registering revolves around players that have really high level of movement (that's another issue entirely the ability to jump right and land left is super awkward and not really a skill thing and I think plays to a lot of the slow registration this game has on damage) or they're on a phantom or a Cleaners green. Like for phantom it feels like my aim assist just stops working (Play on Xbox series X with controller). It's just something that every time it feels like my bullets aren't registering or my gun flies off the character and I can't hold my aim is consistently a phantom. Maybe this is just a placebo in that I see a phantom and my aim gets worse but it happens so often that it can't just be a coincidence (been playing shooters since the old MW2 and I'm usually consistently number one or two in most lobbies holding anywhere from 1.5 to a 2 KD). The other character I notice has an issue is the cleaners primarily the green character model. This character model has a gigantic backpack on it which makes the character look bigger than its actual Hitbox. Example you could have the character running left or right on you and shoot at them and you might be aiming directly at their backpack which feels like you're on the character but your bullets aren't gonna register because that's not their Hitbox. And being that cleaners is one of the most used factions I think adds to what feels like a lot of ghost bullets or just a lack of registration. Again maybe this is a placebo as well but I have no issue shooting the other two cleaners but that green character model has something that just doesn't feel right.
1:05 proxy mine are bugged when u throw them it takes 1-2 sec now. And now they got this bad kill trade system. If anyone watched “handler’s” new yt vid about the game shows you how bad this game is rn.
I played it and it’s gotten worse. Bad netcode, kill trade is more frequent, weapons seem unbalanced, and again same boring game model. The foundation of xdefiant has not improved and this proves it’s broken and in need of an overhaul. I really want it to get better but honestly idk I’ll be back S3. The kill trade and the constantly dying around corners is just abysmal and killing me from enjoying the game. The s2 is mid like I predicted and I don’t see any value in the battle pass again. So hopefully S3 is a home run

Netcode is god awful, matchmaking sucks, literally waiting between 3-6 minutes for a game only for hitreg to not work is disheartning. This sucks big time
Net code is still bad, team balancing is still bad, faction balancing is still bad, maps are still built for tweakers high on adderal, content is drip fed worse then Warframe (and that’s saying something), and QOL craters promised in season 0 have been pushed to Season 4(a season could never exist). Turns out not have sbmm doesn’t matter when the rest of your game is ass.

Having a hard time with matchmaking.... Really bad balancing, net code isnt really bad tho, i think its better on my side.
I’m almost always the best player on the worst team my w/l is horrible this season. It may be because the sweats are back and my stats are inflated.

I really enjoy waterfront but I play occupy and domination and it plays well but I can imagine it plays a lot slower on TDM
