Thanks for the thorough explanation. Not many Utubers are appreciating the connection between jighead, jighead size, and hook size. Anglers waste so much money buying lures recommended by folks who don't explain how to use the dang baits they push. It then goes on the self with no use. Appreciate you man.
@@Ijustwanttofish2024 Another quick question, maybe you can address on upcoming vedio. Anyway, have you ever used the D-style minnow baits? They come in multiple sizes and look like they'd work with the strolling technique. Thanks for any insights.
@@timmcc1044 Yes I have used the virola. They are ok but for years have been a pain to acquire so I dont use them much. I know recently they are available but haven't bought any.
Awesome to hear. Yeah Iv caught a bunch of good fish on them. I messed around the other day with the 6.5 and had a bunch of followers I just think the conditions were wrong but I know its going to catch some giants.
Not sure exactly what you mean. The point of strolling is a bait has body roll and flash. Finesse minnows do not have the same action when reeled through the water. Thats the main difference. If it was something the bass have seen for years it wouldn't be so dominate. I hope that makes sense. look at my video on the fish roller, thats not your average finesse minnow. Its designed to roll and flash, not swim.

There about to drop the super fish roller I’m already in the pre order list. I fish the fish rollers and catch giants on them primarily the 4” and 5”

What action rod are you using and line size?
I'm using a daiwa tatula 7'1" dropshot rod. Its a medium with a fast tip. As far as line I'm using 10lb braid and 8-14lb leader
